Mounting: Unit is to be mounted to the wall using two (2) #4 screws. The unit should be mounted approximately 7 feet above the floor level and mounted so that the lens on the front of the unit is facing the area that intruder motion is to be detected. Wiring: Unit shall have a 12 volt DC power source connected to terminal block J2 with the positive wire connected to terminal 1 and the negative wire connected to terminal 2. Adjustments: This unit comes with the motion detector sensitivity pre-adjusted. Depending on the size and configuration of the room the unit's sensitivity may require adjustment. Adjusting potentiometer POT1 in a clockwise direction will increase the units sensitivity to motion while a counterclockwise adjustment will decrease the units sensitivity. identity Programming: After the unit has been installed it will require identity programming to make the unit active. This unit has a programming port used to load room numbers, operational characteristics. Please refer to Identity programmers manual for further details on identity programming. Operation: At room entry the motion detector should activate a LED indicator, which will continue to be on until it no longer detects motion. This warranty protects against defects in materials or workmanship when exposed to normal use. This warranty is void if installation and or identity programming is performed by someone other than an authorized Energy Technologies Group installer. This limited warranty does not cover damage, failure or mal-function caused by or attributable to acts of God. This limited warranty is only available to the original purchaser.
