This base station transceiver (Radio Base Station RBS 6402) is designed for use in LTE cellular telephone System and for LAA to extend benefits of LTE on unlicensed spectrum. The base station operates in the Cellular band as per FCC CFR 47. It meets the requirements of Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) for operation in LTE and LAA. The device is a LAA and LTE-U small cell designed for compliance with 3GPP Release 13 and utilizing listen before talk for spectrum sharing in the UNII1 and UNII3 unlicensed spectrum bands.
