HABEY USA highly recommends reading this manual to familiarize yourself with the setup procedure before installing your system. Safety information CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT REMOVE COVER. NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. Water and moisture - Do not use the product near water. Do not install the product in a place where water may splash onto it. Be careful of equipment which drains water such as an air-conditioner. 8. Ventilation - The vents and other openings in the cabinet are designed for ventilation. Do not cover or block these vents and openings since insufficient ventilation can cause overheating and/or shorten the life of the product. Install the product in accordance the instructions in this guide. To ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating, put the product in a position and location that will not interfere with its proper ventilation 9. The screen used in this product is made of glass. Therefore, it can break when the product is dropped or applied with impact. Be careful not to be injured by broken glass pieces in case the screen breaks. 10. Overloading - Do not overload AC outlets or extension cords. Overloading can cause fire or electric shock. 11. Entering of objects and liquids - Never insert an object into the product through vents or openings. High voltage flows in the product, and inserting an object can cause electric shock and/or short internal parts. For the same reason, do not spill water or liquid on the product. 12. Servicing - Do not attempt to service the product yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way: such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged; liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus; the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped. Opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltages or other hazards. 13. When the product does not operate properly as described in the operating instructions. Do not touch the controls other than those described in the operating instructions. Improper adjustment of controls not described in the instructions can cause damage, which requires extensive adjustment work by a qualified technician. 14. Replacement parts - In case the product needs replacement parts, make sure that the service person uses replacement parts specified by the manufacturer, or those with the same characteristic and performance as the original parts. Use of unauthorized parts can result in fire, electric shock and/or other danger. 15. Safety checks - Upon completion of service or repair work, request the service technician to perform safety checks to ensure that the product is in proper operating condition. 16. Wall mounting - When mounting the product on a wall, be sure to install the product according to the method recommended by the manufacturer. 5 17. Heat sources - Keep the product away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves and other neat-generating products (including amplifiers). 18. Usage of the system must not be accompanied by fatal risks or dangers that, could lead directly to death, personal injury, severe physical damage or other loss, including nuclear reaction control in nuclear facility, medical life support system, and missile launch control in a weapon system. 19. Do not stay in contact with the parts of the product that become hot for long periods of time. Doing so may result in low-temperature burns. WARNING: This is a class A product. In a domestic environment this product may cause radio interference in which case the user may he required to take adequate counter measures. If a monitor is not positioned in a sufficiently stable location, it can be potentially hazardous due to falling. Only use devices like wall mount brackets recommended by the manufacturer. Safety instruction Do not use the system where there is a lot of dust, where humidity is high, or where the system may come into contact with oil or steam, as this could lead to fire. Ensure that the system does not come into contact with water or other fluids. Ensure that no objects such as paper clips or pins enter the system as this could lead to or electric shock. Do not place the system in unsafe places. Do not allow the system to receive strong shocks or to strongly vibrate. Causing the system to fall or topple over may damage it. Do not use the system near heating equipment or in places where there is likelihood of high temperature, as this may lead to generation of excessive heat and outbreak of fire. Do not use the system in places where it may be exposed to direct sunlight. The AC outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. FCC RF Radiation Exposure and SAR Statements SAR Statement The Industrual panel PC has been tested for body-worn Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) compliance. The FCC has established detailed SAR requirements and has established that these requirements. RF Exposure Information The radio module has been evaluated under FCC Bulletin OET 65C (01-01) and found to be compliant to the requirements as set forth in CFR 47 Sections, 2.1093, and 15.247 (b) (4) addressing RF Exposure from radio frequency devices. This model meets the applicable government requirements for exposure to radio frequency waves. The highest SAR level measured for this device was 0.297W/kg. Overview and Connections Overview The HABEY USA PPC-4510-VKI Panel PC comprises hardware and software components to provide in office promotional entertainment and interactive media content in high definition screen 10.1LCD Panel Supplied components If any component should be missing, please contact your supplier. 1. Setup manual 8 Connecting peripheral equipments Be sure to unplug the main power plug from the power source before connecting/disconnecting cables. System Operating Main power For complete electrical disconnection, pull out the main plug. When the switching the main power switch off and back on, always wait for at least 5 seconds. The internal computer and LCD panel will turn on once the main power is connected. There is no separate power button for the internal computer. 9
