SE201 Indoor Voice Siren General Introduction The SE201 Voice Siren is a two-way wireless alarm device which functions not only as a siren, but also a strobe light with voice indicator functions. Its great compatibility with our U-Net family security products makes it suitable for smart home cloud based platforms. This product is intended for indoor use only. Main features:
Piezoelectric siren emits alarm sound when activated under emergency. Playback of prerecorded audio sound from built in speaker. User can download sound files from PC into the units memory and played back through commands sent from U-Net controller. Pull the front cover out and insert 4 LR14 (C-cell) batteries. Front View Side View Back View inside View 2. Log into the VIAS account from the APP, and enter the gateway to system main control page. Select Menu List>System Setup>ADD DEVICE>choose Installation on 3. 4. Siren. 5. Please follow and complete the instruction on the APP to binding with central gateway. 6. Locate the learning button J. Do not activate pairing on the controller yet. 7. Press and hold the learning button for more than 3 seconds siren until the siren emits 3 beeps followed by a long beep. Release the learning button 8. Quickly activate pairing on the controller. The LED should stop blinking indicating the pairing process is complete. 1 Mounting Reset to factory default:
The SE201 should be mounted inside the building in a position that is clearly visible and at a height which is relatively inaccessible to an intruder. It is also suggested not to mount the unit in the basement to avoid poor transmission. 1. Remove the backplate from the siren. 2. Use the backplate as a template to mark and drill the position of 2 mounting holes on the wall. Fix the backplane to the wall using the plastic wall plugs and fixing screws provided. 3. Slide the unit down to the backplate. Maintenance When the battery becomes low, the detector will report back to the controller. Software reporting commands Auto report Status change Temperature and Humidity report When battery is inserted, it will report to controller after 2 minutes. It will report the condition every hour. 1. Tamper switch is release: It will report to controller and broadcast 2nd voice sound. 2. Sudden change of temperature over 2 degrees: SP201 would report to controller. SE201 would measure every 5 minutes and would report every 30 minutes. The report period can be set from 300 sec~ 3600 sec through the controller. Troubleshooting The troubleshooting table lists some possible causes and solutions. Please contact your original retailer or nearest service center if the below solutions cannot solve your problem. Place the siren closer to the controller. 2 To reset SE201 back to factory default state:
1. Press and hold the learning button J (as shown in the Product Layout section) for more than 3 seconds until the siren emits 3 beeps followed by a long beep. Release the learning button. The Blue LED will flash repeatedly. 2. Press and hold again the learning button, this time for more than 6 seconds, until another long beep is heard, then release.
