The primary purpose of the EyeOn Air device is to provide synthesized speech through use of speech generating hardware and software. This device is generally not useful to an individual in the absence of an illness or injury. Methods of Use The EyeOn Air device is intended for use in the home by individuals who have a severe speech impairment. The EyeOn Air device can be used on a at table or desktop surface by utilizing the integrated kickstand. In addition, the EyeOn Air device can also be mounted to various wheelchair mounts using the VESA mounting pattern located on the back of the device. Prohibited Use This device should not be used for clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic purposes. Service Life The expected service life of the EyeOn Air device is ve (5) years. The EyeOn Air device is intended for daily, repeated use. To preserve the longevity between charges, we recommend setting the sleep mode to ve (5) minutes, to allow the EyeOn Air device to revert to sleep mode when inactive. If the EyeOn Air device is used on a frequent basis, it is recommended to recharge on a daily basis. The device can be used while its charging. To charge the EyeOn Air device:
Connect the supplied power adapter between the Power Input (6) on the EyeOn Air device and the power supply

Ensure that the device is properly powered down (follow instructions on page 13). The device should not be in sleep mode for storage. Store the EyeOn Air device in a dry environment at room temperature (between -4F to 140F or -20C to 60C) 15 16 The EyeOn Air device comes equipped with a touch screen and built-in eye tracker to create voice messages. Additional USB based input devices can also be purchased independently to operate the EyeOn Air, such as: mouse, keyboard, or switches. Method Tap once on the object with your nger. Give two short, quick taps on the object with your nger. To move a draggable object, touch the object and drag it to the desired location. Touch the object and continue to hold that position until a circle appears around the object. Then release the object to generate a right click. Use the following methods to make a selection on the EyeOn Air device using eye gaze control:
Eye gaze controls will automatically power on with the EyeOn Air device. Launch the QuickACCESS software program located on the desktop of the EyeOn Air device. Follow the automated calibration tutorial in the software to optimize the eye gaze controls. Use the following methods to make a selection on the EyeOn Air device using mouse control:
Connect a Bluetooth mouse to the EyeOn Air device per the instructions provided with the mouse. Plug in a USB mouse into one of the available ports: USB Ports (3) on the EyeOn Air device. The EyeOn Air device audibly generates words and phrases when an individual selects either letters, words, pictures, or symbols through one of the multiple methods of device access. 20 21 Cleaning Troubleshooting & Repairs The EyeOn Air device includes a two year return-to-depot warranty. To submit a warranty claim, please send an email to support@eyetechds.com including your name, phone number, serial number of the device, and description of the issue. An EyeTech team member will contact you within 24 hours to troubleshoot over the phone. If EyeTech determines that a repair is necessary, you will be responsible for shipping the device to EyeTechs repair depot. EyeTech will repair or replace the defective component and will return ship the repaired or replaced device to you at our cost. Please note that conducting self-repairs or repairs through an unauthorized third party may negate EyeTechs return-to-depot warranty. To clean the EyeOn Air device, gently spray an all-purpose or window cleaner (such as Windex) on the device and wipe o with a soft cloth (such as microber).
