ship ensure that Porsche Classic Communication Management has a long service life. Porsche Classic Communication Management needs your attention and care to full its potential. This will ensure that Porsche Classic Communication Management can be relied upon even in critical situations. Porsche Classic Communication Management is the central control unit for the radio, media functions, iPod, external audio sources, sound settings, naviga-
tion and BT telephony. The following points must be observed to ensure that you do not endanger or harm yourself or oth-
ers when using Porsche Classic Communication Management:
Risk of accident Any distraction may cause control of the vehicle to be lost. Only operate Porsche Classic Communication Management when the vehicle is safely under control and the trac situation permits. If in doubt, stop the vehicle and operate Porsche Classic Communication whilst stationary. The following points should be observed:
- The screen is susceptible to scratches.

The device must not be splashed with liquids. The ingress of liquids may destroy the device. Clean your Porsche Classic Communication Management carefully from time to time with a dry, clean and so cloth (microbre cloth) or a cleaning brush. Do not exert excessive pressure on the surface when cleaning. Never use solvents such as methylated spirits, thinners, petrol, acetone or alcohol (ethanol, methanol or isopropyl alcohol) or abrasives. Remove ngerprints with a damp cloth or mild detergent. Never spray detergents or other liquids directly onto the screen. Instead, moisten a cloth and gently wipe the screen. In the event of a malfunction never open the Porsche Classic Communication Management device yourself! In the event of a fault have the device repaired at a qualied specialist workshop. We recommend that a Porsche Partner is used for this work as they have trained workshop personnel and the necessary parts and tools. Risk of accident The navigation system only provides the driver with support and suggests a route. This does not release the driver from the full respon-
sibility for correct driving style and behaviour in road trac in accordance with the rules of the German Road Trac Regulations (StVO) and other relevant regulations. The driver is responsible for assessing the trac situation. The driver retains sole responsi-
bility for driving the vehicle safely. Remain aware of the trac situation. Risk of injury Risk of injury. Do not use the telephone close to explosive substances (e.g. at a petrol station) or close to explosives. In certain hazardous areas, such as close to petrol stations, fuel depots, chemical plants and blasting operations, mobile phones must be switched o. Their use could interfere with technical equipment. Observe relevant instructions. Observe legal regulations and local restrictions when using the telephone.
