If you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring connections obtain the services of a qualified electrician. Remove the fixture and the mounting package from the box and make sure that no parts are missing by referencing the illustrations on the installation instructions. WARNING: RISK OF SHOCK. Removing the Cable Wires If you have a pre-existing low voltage cable connected to the transformer, remove these cable wires from the transformer output terminals. Positioning the OneSync Low Voltage Controller Position the OneSync Low Voltage Controller (AA) 6 in. beneath the transformer terminals. Ensure that the input wires of the Low Voltage Controller (AA) will reach the transformer terminals, and the low voltage landscape cable wires will reach the Low Voltage Controller (AA) output. 4 Connecting the Wires Wire the input OneSync Low Voltage Controller (AA) into the transformer. Connect the black wire to the 12V terminal on the transformer and the white wire to the COM terminal. Transformer terminal input wires AA AA NOTE: Operates on 12V 15V input. 5 Loosening the Output Screws Open the waterproof cover of the output wires and loosen the screws to allow wire insertion. Do not completely remove the screws. 6 Inserting the Landscape Cable Wire Open and remove the rubber gasket from the output terminals. Insert the landscape cable wires into the OneSync Low Voltage Controller (AA) rubber gasket, then into the output terminals. NOTE: Output terminal is rated for 12-16AWG landscape wire. AA Output terminals Rubber gasket 4 WWW.FEIT.COM OneSync Low Voltage Controller Installation (Cont.) 7 Replacing the Waterproof Cover Tighten screws on the front of the OneSync Low Voltage Controller (AA) using a flathead screwdriver and close the waterproof cover. Slide the Output terminal rubber gasket upward until the Output terminals are completely sealed. 8 Securing the Onesync Low Voltage Controller Secure the OneSync Low Voltage Controller (AA) to a surface by screwing in each corner with the included screws (CC). Make sure that all wires are not overly strained. AA CC Power / Pairing Button Low Voltage Controller must remain ON to function as intended. Turn off any timers or Dusk to Dawn schedules on the connected transformer. Pairing to a OneSync Remote (Not Included) The OneSync remote has a 100ft control range and will command all paired fixtures within 100ft of the remote. All OneSync fixtures are equipped with a signal repeater that will repeat any remote commands to all other fixtures within 100ft. Placing fixtures within 100ft of at least one other fixture creates a control network and allows for unlimited remote control range, as long as there is a functioning OneSync fixture within 100ft to relay the command. 1 2 3 Turning the Low Voltage Controller On Press the button to turn the OneSync Low Voltage Controller (AA) on and off. NOTE: The transformer powering the Low Voltage Controller (AA) must be always on. Remove any timers or Dusk to Dawn settings. Power / Pairing Button Press the power button to turn the plug on and off. AA Pairing Low Voltage Controller Hold down the button on the OneSync Low Voltage Controller (AA) to enter pairing mode. The LED indicator will blink and will be in pairing mode for 3 minutes. Press and hold down the desired group button on the OneSync remote for 5 seconds. When successfully paired, the LED indicator on the OneSync Low Voltage Controller (AA) will flash and stop blinking. NOTE: The OneSync Low Voltage Controller (AA) is pre-paired to the universal group one. It will respond to any OneSync remote operating on group 1. Unpairing the Low Voltage Controller from OneSync Remote Groups Hold down the button on the OneSync Low Voltage Controller (AA) to enter pairing mode. The LED indicator will blink and will be in pairing mode for 3 minutes. On the OneSync Remote, press the group number that you wish to unpair the OneSync Low Voltage Controller (AA) from. Hold down the off button on the OneSync remote for 5 seconds.
