PADDY is a device that alerts via APP if the child has been abandoned in the vehicle. The APP warns by means of an acoustic signal, by flashing the LED of the photo camera and by vibrating the phone. This alarm remains active until the child is removed from the seat. If this alarm is not deactivated within 30 seconds, the system sends a message indicating the GPS geographical coordinates of the place where the alarm was generated to other two predefined telephone numbers, such as: parents, grandparents or friends. Setting-up the APP Remove the Smart PADDY pad from the box and place it on the base of the car child seat. Insert the seat belt buckle through the slot of the PADDY cushion. Make sure that the PADDY logo is facing upwards, as in figure 1. When the APP is launched, a menu like the one here below opens. Note: on certain Android phones you might be requested to activate the AutoStart and View permissions on the lock screen. In order to register the child, press the icon as shown below. The APP allows to register and monitor up to 4 children. Insert the childs name. Then press on the icon to load the picture of your child. It is possible to take a picture or download it from the phones albums. The childs name and picture will appear as follows. 5 To connect the APP to the PADDY Smart Pad press on the PADDY logo on the pad, as shown below, until you hear the sound signal. After the sound signal, keep pressing on the pad. Hit the connect bar, as shown below. At this point the pad will connect with the APP. B E E P A new sound signal will confirm the connection between the Pad and the APP. Next to the picture of the child the batterys charge level of the Pad will appear. The battery charge indicator changes color when the charge drops, turning red when the battery level is very low. Whenever the buzzer sounds 4 times in a row, the battery must be replaced: a notification will also be sent to the phone if the screen is off. To complete the installation of the APP, press the settings icon in the upper right corner where you can activate the vibration, the intermittent flash and select the alarm ringtone. 6 Adding other users Once the Smart Pad is connected to the APP, a secondary user can be added. Such user will have to press on CONNECT on his phone as shown below. In the secondary user APP, press on the SHOW MY QR CODE bar to display the unique QR code of the device. 2 2 2 On the primary users phone, press on the SCAN USERS QR CODE bar: at this point the secondary user APP is associated with the main user APP allowing the associated user to receive an alarm notification with the GPS coordinates in case the child has been left unattended in the car. Repeat the same procedure in order to associate the third user. 1 1 2 1 2 7 Using the product The main screen shows the status of the smart pad. If the child is not on the pad, the childs image is black and white. When the child is on the pad, the image of the child is colored. Child on pad Child not on pad The PADDY smart pad connects to the APP and monitors the presence of the child. When the child is picked up from the car seat, the smart pad turns off, while turning on again when the child is placed back in the car seat. If the smart pad does not connect with the APP, it will beep 3 times every 10 seconds for 2 minutes, and then every 60 seconds. In case the driver walks away from the vehicle and the child has been left in the car child seat, after a distance of approximately 10-15 meters, the driver will receive a message on his phone, such as: ATTENTION! (BABYS NAME) HAS BEEN ABANDONED. At the same time the phone will send a sound (beep) and visual (flashing light) alarm with vibration. If the alarm is not turned off by the driver within 30 seconds, the APP will send a new message to all associated users, such as:

(NAME OF THE CHILD) HAS BEEN ABANDONED AT GPS 22.3213N 113.9433E) The associated users can access the map on the phone and view the exact location where the child was left unattended, as shown in figure 2 below. Then they can contact the other users and proceed to rescue the unattended child. Example of the map visualizing where the child has been left unattended 8 Product maintenance The outer lining fabric is waterproof and removable for washing purposes: the ideal washing conditions are shown on the inside label. Open the zip of the pad cover, pull out the device from the pad and save it in a dry and clean place. Battery life-span is estimated at approximately 2 years. If the buzzer sounds 4 times in a row while placing the child in the seat, or while connecting the pad with the phone, it means that the battery needs to be replaced. To replace the battery: open the zip of the smart PADDY pad and pull out the inside device. Open the exposed black box and replace the battery. Reinsert the device into the pad and close the zip. Warranty PADDY Smart Pad enjoys a Limited Life Warranty against any defects of non-compliance under normal operating conditions of use. Please refer to the Warranty notice enclosed to this Owners Manual. Note: the battery is not included in the warranty as it is a consumable item and must be replaced as needed. Installation de lApplication Retirez le coussinet Smart PADDY de la bote et placez-le sur la base du sige auto pour enfant. Insrez la boucle de la ceinture de scurit dans la fente du coussinet PADDY. Assurez-vous que le logo PADDY soit orient vers le haut, comme dans la figure 1. Lorsque lAPP est lance, un menu comme celui ci-

dessous souvre. Notice: certains tlphones Android, pourraient vous demander dactiver les Autorisations de dmarrage automatique et daffichage sur lcran de verrouillage. Pour enregistrer lenfant, appuyez sur licne tel quillustr ci-dessous. LApplication permet denregistrer et de surveiller jusqu 4 enfants. Insrez le nom de lenfant. Appuyez ensuite sur licne pour charger la photo de votre enfant. Il est possible de prendre une photo ou de la tlcharger partir des albums du tlphone. Le nom et la photo de lenfant seront affichs comme ci-dessous:

13 Pour connecter lApplication au Coussinet Intelligent PADDY, appuyez sur le logo PADDY sur le coussinet, comme illustr ci-dessous, jusqu ce que vous entendiez le signal sonore. Aprs le signal sonore, continuez dappuyer sur le coussinet. Appuyez sur la barre se connecter, comme indiqu ci-dessous. ce stade, le coussinet se connectera lApplication. B E E P Un nouveau signal sonore confirmera la connexion entre le Coussinet et lApplication. ct de limage de lenfant, le niveau de charge de la batterie du Coussinet apparat. Lindicateur de charge de la batterie change de couleur lorsque la charge baisse, devenant rouge lorsque le niveau de la batterie est trs faible. Chaque fois que lavertisseur retentit 4 fois, la batterie doit tre remplace: une notification sera galement envoye au tlphone si lcran est teint. Pour terminer linstallation de lApplication, appuyez sur licne des paramtres dans le coin suprieur droit o vous pouvez activer la vibration, le flash intermittent et slectionner la sonnerie dalarme. 14 Rajouter autres utilisateurs Une fois le Coussinet Intelligent connect lApplication, un utilisateur secondaire peut tre ajout. Sur son tlphone cet utilisateur devra appuyer sur CONNECT comme indiqu ci-dessous. Dans lapplication de lutilisateur secondaire, appuyez sur la barre AFFICHER MON CODE QR pour afficher le code QR unique de lappareil. 2 2 2 Sur le tlphone de lutilisateur principal, appuyez sur la barre NUMERISER LE CODE QR UTILISATEUR: ce stade, lapplication de lutilisateur secondaire est associe lapplication de lutilisateur principal permettant lutilisateur associ de recevoir une notification dalarme avec les coordonnes GPS au cas o lenfant aurait t abandonn dans la voiture. Rptez la mme procdure pour associer le troisime utilisateur. 1 1 2 1 2 15 Utilisation du produit Lcran principal affiche ltat du coussinet intelligent. Si lenfant nest pas sur le coussinet, limage de lenfant est en noir et blanc. Lorsque lenfant est sur le coussinet, limage de lenfant est colore. Enfant prsent Enfant non prsent Le Coussinet Intelligent PADDY se connecte lApplication et surveille la prsence de lenfant. Lorsque lenfant est retir du sige auto le coussinet intelligent steint, et il senclenche autre fois lorsque lenfant est replac sur le sige auto. Si le coussinet intelligent ne se connecte pas lApplication, il met 3 bips toutes les 10 secondes pendant 2 minutes, puis toutes les 60 secondes. Au cas o le conducteur sloigne du vhicule et que lenfant a t laiss dans son sige auto, aprs une distance denviron 10 15 mtres, le conducteur recevra un message sur son tlphone, tel que: ATTENTION! (NOM DU BB) A T ABANDONN . En mme temps, le tlphone envoie une alarme sonore (bip) et visuelle

(lumire clignotante) avec vibration. Si lalarme nest pas dsactive par le conducteur dans les 30 secondes suivant, lApplication enverra un nouveau message tous les utilisateurs associs, tel que: (LE NOM DE LENFANT) A T ABANDONN AU GPS 22.3213N 113.9433E). Les utilisateurs associs peuvent accder la carte sur le tlphone et voir lemplacement exact o lenfant a t laiss sans surveillance, comme le montre la figure 2 ci-dessous. Ensuite, ils peuvent contacter les autres utilisateurs et procder rcuprer lenfant abandonn. Exemple de carte visualisant o lenfant a t laiss sans surveillance. 16 Manutention du produit Le tissu de la doublure extrieure est impermable et amovible pour le lavage: les conditions optimales de lavage sont indiques sur ltiquette intrieure. Ouvrez la fermeture clair de la doublure du coussinet, retirez lappareil interne et conservez-le dans un endroit sec et propre. La dure de vie de la batterie est estime environ 2 ans. Si lavertisseur retentit 4 fois lorsque vous placez lenfant sur le sige auto ou lorsque vous connectez le coussinet au tlphone, cela signifie que la batterie doit tre remplace. Pour remplacer la batterie:

ouvrez la fermeture clair du coussinet intelligent PADDY et retirez lappareil intrieur. Ouvrez la bote noire expose et remplacez la batterie. Rinsrez lappareil dans le coussinet et fermez le zip. PADDY es un dispositivo que avisa a travs de una APP si el nio ha sido abandonado en el vehculo. Esta APP avisa emitiendo una seal acstica, haciendo parpadear el LED de la cmara y haciendo vibrar el telfono. Estas alarmas se mantienen activas hasta que el nio hasta que el nio no ha sido sacado de su asiento. Si el conductor no responde a la alarma, se activa el mensaje informando del abandono con las precisas coordenadas GPS a los contactos de la lista anteriormente establecida, por ejemplo: padres, abuelos o amigos. Hacer pasar la hebilla del cinturn de seguridad del asiento de nio a travs del slot del cojn PADDY. Asegurarse que el logo PADDY sea puesto hacia arriba, como en la figura 1. Cuando la APP ha sido lanzada, el men aparece cmo sigue aqu abajo. Nota: en algunos telfonos Android podra ser necesario activar los permisos de Inicio automtico y Muestra en la pantalla de bloqueo. Para registrar un nio aprieta el icono + como se muestra ms abajo. Esta aplicacin permite el registro y la vigilancia de hasta cuatro nios. Introduce el nombre del nio. En seguida presiona el icono del nio para cargar una foto del nio. Es posible sacar una foto o escoger una de la galera del telfono. El nombre y la foto del nio vienen mostrados como a continuacin. 21 Para conectar la APP al cojn Smart PADDY presionar sobre el logo PADDY que aparece en el cojn, cmo se muestra ms abajo, hasta el seal acstico. Despus del seal acstico, mantiene la presin sobre el cojn. Presiona la barra conectarse cmo se muestra ms abajo. B E E P Efectuada la conexin entre el cojn y la APP se escuchar otro seal acstico. Al lado del nombre y a la fotografa del nio ser mostrado el nivel de carga de la batera del cojn conectado. El indicador del nivel de carga de la batera cambia de color cuando el nivel baja, colocndose rojo cuando el nivel de la batera es muy bajo. Cada vez que el buzzer suene por cuatro veces la batera deber ser cambiada. Adems, un mensaje ser enviado al telfono si la pantalla est apagada. Si el nio no se encuentra sobre el cojn Smart PADDY la imagen del nio se muestra en blanco y negro. Cuando el nio se encuentra sentado sobre el cojn Smart PADDY la imagen viene mostrada en colores. Nio presente Nio ausente El cojn Smart PADDY se conecta al APP y controla la presencia del nio.Cuando se saca al nio de su asiento, el cojn Smart se apaga y se volver a encender cuando nuevamente se vuelva a posicionar un nio sobre el asiento. Si el cojn Smart PADDY nos se conecta con la APP emite tres sonidos seguidos de alarma cada 10 segundos por 2 minutos y luego cada 60 segundos. Cuando el nio ha sido abandonado en un vehculo y el tutor se aleja del mismo vehculo, despus de una distancia de 10-15 metros, el tutor recibir un mensaje de alarma en su telfono, por ejemplo: ATENCIN (nombre del nio) HA SIDO ABANDONADO entonces el telfono emitir un seal acstica de alarma con vibracin y flash intermitente. Dopo il segnale acustico, mantieni la pressione sul cuscino. Premi la barra connettere, come mostrato qui sotto. In seguito, il cuscino si connetter con lAPP. B E E P Avvenuta la connessione fra il cuscino e lAPP verr emesso un altro segnale acustico. A fianco al nome ed alla foto del bambino verr mostrato il livello di carica della batteria del cuscino connesso. Lindicatore del livello di carica della batteria cambia colore quando il livello scende, diventando rosso quando il livello della batteria molto basso. Ogni qualvolta il buzzer suona per 4 volte la batteria deve essere sostituita : inoltre una notifica verr inviata sul telefono se lo schermo spento. Se il bambino non si trova sul cuscino smart PADDY limmagine del bambino viene mostrata in bianco e nero. Quando il bambino si trova sul cuscino smart PADDY limmagine del bambino viene mostrata a colori. Bambino presente Bambino assente Il cuscino smart PADDY si collega allAPP e monitora la presenza del bambino. Quando il bambino viene prelevato dal seggiolino, il cuscino smart si spegne e si riaccende quando un bambino viene nuovamente posizionato sul seggiolino. Se il cuscino smart PADDY non si connette con lAPP emette 3 suoni ravvicinati di allarme ogni 10 secondi per 2 minuti, e poi ogni 60 secondi. Esempio di mappa che visualizza dove il bambino stato lasciato incustodito. 32 Mantenimento del prodotto Il tessuto esterno della fodera impermeabile e rimuovibile per essere lavato, le condizioni ideali per il lavaggio sono riportate nella etichetta interna. Aprire la zip della fodera esterna del cuscino e tirare fuori la parte interna del cuscino, metterla in un luogo asciutto e pulito. La durata della batteria stimata in circa 2 anni. Se vengono emessi 4 bip quando il bambino messo sul seggiolino o mentre avviene il collegamento con il telefono significa che la batteria deve essere sostituita. Per cambiare la batteria aprire la zip del cuscino smart PADDY e tirare fuori la parte interna. Aprire la scatola nera esposta e sostituire la batteria.
