Unscrew the battery cover on the back of your guitar and insert the batteries as shown. CONNECTING YOUR GUITAR CONTROLLER The Guitar Controller is a 2.4 GHz wireless controller that connects to a PlayStation. 2 or PlayStation. 3 via a detachable receiver. The receiver has 2 available connections:

Do not expose your Guitar Controller to extreme conditions, including direct sunlight or excessive heat. Do not try to modify, fix or disassemble your Guitar Controller. There are no user serviceable parts and doing so will void your warranty. Only use a dry cloth to clean the Guitar Controller, no water or chemicals. Always remove batteries during transport of the device or when not in use for long periods of time. We recommend the use of fresh AA size alkaline batteries. Insert batteries to correct (+) and (-) polarities. Always replace a complete set of batteries. Do not mix old and new, different types or rechargeable batteries of different capacity. When the equipment is not being used for a prolonged period of time, the batteries should be removed. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the equipment. Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
