CHARGE BATTERY 1. As shown, connect the charging cable to the power adapter, then connect the power adapter to the AC power outlet. 2. When the LED turns green, it indicates the charging is completed. 13 INSTALL BELT CLIP To install the belt clip, remove the screws from the back of the battery and install the belt clip. INSTALL ACCESSORIES Open the jack cover and insert the earphone/programming cable into the radio. Keep covered if not in use. 14 BASIC OPERATION 1. Power on/off Long press the "power button" until the screen lights up to power on. Long press the power button until the shutdown animation appears to power off. 2. Adjust Volume Rotate the "volume knob" clockwise to increase the volume, rotate counterclockwise to decrease the volume. 3. Transmit To make a call, press and hold the PTT key, then speak into the microphone using your normal speaking voice. Release PTT switch to receive. Press menu key to enter function list. 2. Press up/ down key to choose required option. 3. If the selected function has a sub-menu at the next level, you can select the desired sub-menu. 4.
