Carefully review the safety and electrical information starting on page 2 prior to using the card. To carry out communications properly The PC Card may not function properly in some environ-
ments. Consider the following when installing your computer. I Install your computer at a line-of-sight distance of 160 feet (50 m) or shorter from another Bluetooth device or Modem Station. Although clear line-of-sight is not required, the communication distance shortens depend-
ing on the use environment (e.g., presence of walls or fur-
niture) and the structure of the building. I Install your computer at least 6.5 feet (2 m) away from other electric or electronic systems. If you need to install your computer near a microwave oven, keep it at least 10 feet (3 m) away from the oven because the PC Card is sus-
ceptible to microwaves. I If you have trouble communicating using the PC Card because of a nearby broadcast station or radio equipment, move your computer to another location or correct the orientation of the antenna. 8 What You Can Do Using the Bluetooth PC Card The Bluetooth PC Card allows you to use your computer to perform wireless communications with other computers equipped with a Bluetooth-compatible device, and with the optional Fujitsu Modem Station.
