Follow all instructions. Do not use this apparatus near water. Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. FUNCTIONS AND CONTROLS Carrying Handle Speakers(x2) Docking Station CONNECT SPEAKERS PAIR VOLUME OFF ON CONNECT SPEAKERS PAIR VOLUME OFF ON DC IN 5V USB CHARGER Power Slide the power switch to power the unit on or off. Connect Speakers Press to connect the speakers to each other. Pair Press to begin pairing the speakers to a device. Volume Press to adjust the volume up or down. DC Power Input for charging the dock and speakers USB Charging Port for charging connected mobile devices ISB614B-978-01-IB.indd 1 1/9/2014 10:31:54 AM OUT OF THE BOX Charging the Internal Batteries Charging requires an AC/DC power adapter (included). Please charge each speaker for at least 5 hours before using. Charge time will increase if the dock is also charging a connected mobile device through the charging port. 1. Connect the small plug of the AC/DC power adaptor (included) to the docking station and the large plug to an AC power outlet. 2. Place the speakers on the docking station to charge the batteries. This should only need to be done upon first use. Pairing the speakers can take up to 1 minute. 1. Power on the speakers by sliding the power switch to the ON position on both units (first make sure both speakers are fully charged). 2. The Bluetooth Indicator and Speaker Connection Indicator will flash slowly in unison. If the Speaker Connection Indicator is not flashing, but is solid white both speakers your speakers are already paired. You can skip to the Pairing a Bluetooth Device section. 3. Press the Connect Speakers button on both speakers simultaneously. 4. The Speaker Connection Indicators will flash quickly. 5. Wait until both Speaker Connection Indicators are solid white, this means the speakers have been successfully paired. Note : For all future uses please turn on both speakers and wait for them to connect. There should be no need to press Connect Speaker button again. If any pairing issues should occur, please follow the above steps again. Pairing a Bluetooth Device Refer to the users manual for your specific device for instructions on pairing and connecting Bluetooth devices. Make sure you have first followed the instructions for Pairing the Speakers. 1. When pairing, the device should remain within 3 feet of the speakers. 2. Press the Pair button on only ONE of the speakers. The pair indicator will begin flash quickly. 3. Using the native controls on your Bluetooth device, scan for and select ISB614 in your Bluetooth settings to pair. If your device requests a password, enter 0 0 0 0. 4. 5. When successfully paired, the blue pairing indicator will stop flashing and will remain solid. 6. After initial pairing, the unit will stay paired unless unpaired manually by the user or erased due to a reset of the device. 7. If any pairing issues should occur, un-pair the unit on your Bluetooth device and follow the above steps again. Note : If two speakers with the ISB614 name appear on the pairing list of your device, please erase one of ISB614 listed in your Bluetooth device and repeat the above steps again. Playing Audio Wirelessly Once you have successfully connected to a bluetooth device, you may begin playing audio through your speakers. You can use a USB cable (not included) to charge your Bluetooth device from the speaker dock while it is playing. 1. Use the native controls on the connected Bluetooth Device to to play, pause or skip a selected track. 2. Any audio played through the connected Bluetooth device will now be heard through the speakers. Charging Your Connected Bluetooth Device You can use a USB cable (not included) to charge your Bluetooth device from the speaker dock while it is playing. 1. Plug a USB cord into the USB Charger port on rear of the dock. 2. Plug the other end into a mobile media device to charge it.
