Where to position 3.1 Huddle rooms For the optimal audio quality, position the speakerphone in the center of the table, up to 2m/6.5ft from each participant. A single Jabra Speak 750 is ideal for up to 6 people. up to 2m/6.5ft 7 3.2 Large meeting room For large meetings of up to 12 people in a single room, position two Jabra Speak 750 devices up to 4m/13ft apart, but no closer than 0.5m/1.6ft. Positioning them at either end of the table, up to 2m/6.5ft from participants, will ensure everyone can be heard clearly. 0.5m-4m 1.6ft-13ft To temporarily link the audio between two Jabra Speak 750 devices, tap the Link button on both speakerphones when they are within 4m/13ft. Max 4m/13ft jabra jabra 8 3.3 Desk When using the Jabra Speak 750 at your desk it is recommended to put the speakerphone into an upright position using the table stand. This will better direct the audio towards you for a richer music experience. Additionally, two Jabra Speak 750 devices can be linked together for stereo sound. and media 9 3.4 Stereo media If you are presenting or viewing stereo multimedia or listening to music or media at your desk, two Jabra Speak 750 devices can be positioned on either side of a projector or monitor for stereo sound. To temporarily link the audio between two Jabra Speak 750 devices, tap the Link button on both speakerphones when they are within 4m/13ft. Max 4m/13ft jabra jabra 10 4. How to charge 4.1 USB charging Plug the Jabra Speak 750 into a USB power source using the attached USB cable. The Jabra Speak 750 battery lasts for up to 10 hours of talk time and takes approx. 3 hours to fully charge. jabra 4.2 Automatic power off To preserve battery while unplugged, the Jabra Speak 750 will automatically power off when it has not been connected to a Bluetooth device for 15 minutes. If connected to a Bluetooth device and not plugged into power, the Jabra Speak 750 will automatically power off after 8 hours. 11 4.3 Battery status To view the current battery status, tap the Battery status button. The LEDs around the edge of the Jabra Speak 750 will light up to indicate the current battery status. Medium battery Low battery 12 5. How to connect 5.1 Connect to computer (Bluetooth adapter) Plug the Jabra Link 370 Bluetooth adapter into a USB port on your computer. The Jabra Speak 750 and the Jabra Link 370 Bluetooth adapter are pre-paired and ready to use out of the box. The Bluetooth range is up to 30m/98ft. jabra jabra For the Jabra Speak 750 to work correctly, you may need to set the Jabra Link 370 Bluetooth adapter as the playback and recording device in your operating systems audio settings. If you need to re-pair the Jabra Speak 750 with the Jabra Link 370 Bluetooth adapter, please use Jabra Direct. Jabra Direct can be downloaded at jabra.com/direct. 13 5.2 Connect to computer (USB cable) Plug the Jabra Speak 750 into a USB port on your computer. You may need to set the Jabra Speak 750 as the playback and recording device in your operating systems audio settings. 5.3 Connect to smartphone or tablet Hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds and follow the voice-guided instructions to pair to your smartphone or tablet. The Bluetooth range is up to 10m/33ft. jabra jabra To disconnect or reconnect, tap the Bluetooth button again. 14 6. After 1 minute of inactivity the buttons will fade, and can be reactivated by tapping the area where the buttons are located. (use Jabra Direct to enable speed dial) 6.3 Multiple call handling WHAT HOW Put current call on hold and answer incoming call Tap the Answer call button Switch between held call and active call Tap the Answer call button Reject incoming call, and continue current call Tap the End call button 17 6.4 Link button To temporarily link the audio between two Jabra Speak 750 devices, tap the Link button on both speakerphones when they are within 4m/13ft. The Link button will only be visible when two Jabra Speak 750 devices are within 4m/13ft. Max 4m/13ft jabra jabra To unlink the speakerphones, tap the Link button on one of the speakerphones. NOTE: Linking two Jabra 750 devices uses a Bluetooth connection. Each Speak 750 can only have two active Bluetooth connections. If two Bluetooth devices are currently connected to one of the Jabra Speak 750 devices, the last connected Bluetooth device will temporarily be replaced by the Jabra 750 link. When the Jabra 750 devices are unlinked, the Bluetooth device connection that was temporarily replaced, will be restored. 18 6.5 Smart button By default, the Smart button will activate your smartphones voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, Cortana). However, if you would prefer the Smart button to speed dial a phone number on your Smartphone or PC, this can be configured using Jabra Direct. jabra jabra 6.6 Voice guidance The voice guidance can be turned on or off by holding the End call button for 8 seconds. 19 6.7 Shared use If the Jabra Speak 750 is to be shared by many people using Bluetooth, it is recommended to enable Shared use, which can be configured in Jabra Direct. When Shared use is enabled, the speakerphone will not automatically connect to a previously connected Smartphone or Jabra Link 370 Bluetooth adapter. Instead, the Bluetooth devices will need to be paired with the speakerphone each and every time the smartphone is out of range, or turned off and on. To pair a smartphone or Jabra Link 370 Bluetooth adapter to the speakerphone, hold
(2 sec) the speakerphone and follow the voice-guided instructions. the Bluetooth button on 20 6.8 Factory reset Resetting the Jabra Speak 750 clears the list of paired Bluetooth devices and also clears all personalized settings. After a factory reset, it is necessary to re-pair the Jabra Speak 750 to your Bluetooth devices and Jabra Link 370 Bluetooth adapter. To factory reset, hold the Answer call button and the End call button for 8 seconds until Factory the speakerphone. announced by reset is jabra 21 7. WIRELESS AND CORDED SPEAKERS WARNING!
NORTH AMERICA Permanent hearing loss may result from long-term exposure to sound at high volumes. Use as low a volume as possible. Speakers are capable of delivering sounds at loud volumes and high pitched tones. Under certain circumstances, exposure to such sounds can result in permanent hearing loss damage. The volume level may vary based on conditions such as the radio you are using and volume settings. Avoid prolonged use of the speaker at excessive sound pressure levels. Please read the Safety Guidelines below prior to using the speaker. You Can Reduce the Risk of Hearing Damage by Following These Safety Guidelines During the Use of the Product:
Turn the volume control to its lowest level, when connecting the speaker and then Slowly adjust the volume control to a comfortable level. Keep the volume at the lowest level possible;
If increased volume is necessary, adjust the volume control slowly; and If you experience discomfort or ringing in your ears, immediately discontinue using the speaker. With continued use at a high volume, your ears may become accustomed to the sound level, which may result in permanent damage to your hearing without any noticeable discomfort. SAFETY INFORMATION!
Use of a speaker will impair your ability to hear other sounds. Use caution while using your speaker when you are engaging in any activity that requires your full attention. If you have a pacemaker or other electrical medical devices, you should consult your physician before using the product. This package contains small parts that may be hazardous to children and should be kept out of reach of children at all times. The product is not a toy never allow children to play with the product.The bags themselves or the many small parts they contain may cause choking if ingested. Use of the speaker while operating a motor vehicle may be regulated by local laws. Check with your local authorities. Use caution while using your speaker when you are engaging in any activity that requires your full attention. While engaging in any such activity turning off your speaker will keep you from being distracted, so as to avoid accident or injury. Do not take notes or read documents while driving. BUILT-IN BATTERY CARE: Please observe the following if the product contains a battery Your product is powered by a rechargeable battery. The full performance of a new battery is achieved only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but will eventually wear out. Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the product when not in use. Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger, since overcharging may shorten its lifetime. If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time. Leaving the product in hot or cold places, such as in a closed car in the summer and winter conditions, will reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery. Always try to keep the battery between 0C and 45C (32F and 113F). A product with a hot or cold battery may not work temporarily, even when the battery is fully charged. Battery performance is particularly limited in temperatures well below freezing. Battery warning!
Caution The battery used in the product may present a risk of fire or chemical burn if mistreated. Unless otherwise specified in the user manual or quick start guide the battery in your product can not be removed or replaced by the user. Any attempt to do so is risky and may result in damage of the product. Use of other batteries may present a risk of fire or explosion and the warranty will be terminated. Only recharge your battery with the provided approved chargers designated for this product. Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Please recycle when possible. Do not dispose the battery as household waste or in a fire as it may explode. Batteries may explode if damaged. CHARGER CARE:
Do not attempt to charge your speaker with anything other than the AC adapter provided. The use of any other types may damage or destroy the speaker and could be dangerous. Use of other chargers may invalidate any approval or warranty. For availability of approved enhancements, please check with your dealer. Charge the product according to the instructions supplied with the product. Important: Please refer to the user manual for a description of the charging status indicator lights. Some speakers cannot be used while charging. Charger warning!
When you disconnect the power cord or any enhancement, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord. Never use a charger that is damaged. Do not attempt to disassemble the charger as it may expose you to dangerous electric shock. Incorrect reassembly can cause electric shock or fire when the product is subsequently used.
