This foam tip should form a complete seal, blocking out sound. This is critical to achieve the highest possible NRR rating and protect your hearing. Step 2: Compress the foam tip by rolling or pinching between your fingers until it becomes malleable. Step 3: Insert the foam tip into the ear canal as deep as it is comfortable to wear. Pulling the earlobe back makes is easier to insert the foam tip. Step 4: Hang the ear hook over the ear. Hold in place for 10 seconds to ensure the earplug expands and seals in the ear canal. Step 5: Repeat for the other ear. Outside noises should be significantly reduced. If not, remove the earplugs and perform the steps again until a good seal is made. NOTE: Fitment instructions can also be found on the app. 2 3 Page 4 Basic Features To Power On Press and hold Multi-Button for 2 seconds. The level of noise entering a persons ear, when hearing protector is worn as directed, is closely approximated by the difference between the A-weighted environmental noise level and the NRR. Example:
1. The environmental noise level as measured at the ear is 92 dBA. 2. The NRR is 24 decibels (dB) 3. The level of noise entering the ear is approximately equal to [92dB-22dB]
Caution: For noise environments dominated by frequencies below 500 Hz the C-weighted environmental noise level should be used. Page 8 Page 9 GSM, LLC GWP-SPEB FCC ID: 2AU3A-GWPSPEB IC: 25750-GWPSPEB FCC Compliance FCC Statement:
