Two parameters changed:

1. New Model: 92563363 of the radio module 2. Change of maximum data rate from 1Mbit/s to 2Mbit/s New Model: 92563363 of the radio module Grundfos Holding A/S has introduced Real-Time Clock (RTC) circuitry (additional components mounted on the existing PCB) on the PCBA named 92710890, FCC ID: OG3-UP001. The new assembly variant has got a new model number as the 92710890 still exist in the market. The new model number for the RTC added model is: 92563363, Hardware revision (HVIN) R09. The host products are limited to the same hosts as covered by the original grant FCC ID: OG3-UP001. Due to the above, Grundfos Holding A/S hereby request for a Class 2 Permissive Change (C2PC) on FCC ID: OG3-UP001 to include the model 92563363, Hardware revision (HVIN) R09. The gaps between the two builds are only in non-RF parts of the build and are listed below:

1. Besides the 12 components a new front foil design has been added, made of same materials as in 92710890. 2. Non-chargeable, 3V button cell Battery and button cell holder for the RTC was added. 3. RTC circuitry consisting of 9 components, where of one is the RTC integrated circuit operating with the highest frequency generated by the x-tal (32,768kHz). The remaining 7 components are either passive or operating at frequencies below 32,768kHz. 4. The last component in the RTC sub circuit is an SMD NTC Resistor. Change of maximum data rate from 1Mbit/s to 2Mbit/s Radio module FCC ID: OG3-UP001, Model 92710890 and 92563363 is updated with a new BLE firmware version which change the maximum data rate from 1Mbit/s to 2Mbit/s. No other changes of the RF circuitry nor the firmware capabilities are changed. Test to support the above assessment:

As a result of the changes detailed above, 92563363 was tested fully according to 47CFR 15.247, 15.207 and 15.209 as the worst case representant for the two radio module variants. The Installation is on a permanently fixed location, as the product is installed to a heating pipe system. The LMA module is limited to use in GFTDB products as this creates the same RF environment as the non-shielded, LMA module was tested in (most complex build). Radiated Radio Compliance tests of the composite system, consisting of the most complex build of GFTDB and FCC ID: OG3-UP001, is part of this application. The LMA remain under the control of GRUNDFOS Holding A/S and by that the Quality System of GRUNDFOS Holding A/S, ensuring continued compliance with FCC rules. Details and install instructions and limitations are documented in the Integration Guide for the Radio Module.
