User Manual Micro Switch MH-S220 Introduction Micro Switch is a Z-Wave enabled module that can be set in existing in-wall switches. It supports basic command class, and also can act as a repeater in Z-Wave network. This product can be included and operated in any Z-Wave network with other Z-Wave certified devices from any other manufacturers. A qualified electrician with the understanding of wiring diagrams and knowledge of electrical safety should complete the installation inside the main circuit box (normally outside your house) Read all instructions and documentation and save for future reference Step1 Preparing CAUTION: Cut off power supply at circuit breaker or fuse before installation to avoid fire, shock or death!
1. Remove the wall switch cover plate. 2. Disconnect both wires from the wall switch. Step2 Wiring ( standard strip length: 6-7mm) 1. Connect Hot Line to L. 2. Connect Neutral Line to N. 3. Connect I with L. 4. Connect O with load and then with N. 5. Connect S1, S2 with external switch separately, and then with L . 1 User Manual Step3 Mounting In-Wall Box Mount wall switch and cover plate back to the in-wall box. Step4 Restoring Power Restore power at circuit breaker or fuse. Installation is complete. Operation INCLUDING device into Z-Wave network:
1. Set controller INCLUSION mode. Follow instructions provided by into the the controller/gateway manufacturer. 1. Press the momentary button on the device, or the connected external button S1 3 times in quick succession. Note: If the inclusion is successful, the INDICATION LED will blink slowly 6 times, If not, INDICATION LED will be solid on or off depending on switchs state. EXCLUDING device from Z-Wave network:
2. Set controller into EXCLUSION mode. Follow instructions provided by the the controller/gateway manufacturer. 3. Press the momentary button on the device, or the connected external button S1 3 times in quick succession. Note: If the exclusion is successful, the INDICATION LED will blink slowly 6 times. To set association groups by COMMAND_CLASS_MULTI_CHANNEL_ ASSOCIATION. Refer to Z-Wave Command Class Specification for detail information, or consult the information provided by controller/gateway manufacturer. The device supports 3 association groups(AG):
1st AG: reports devices state. It supports only one Node ID (with/without End Point). A controller/gateway SHOULD be associated to this AG. 2nd AG: to control the associated devices synchronously. When S1s state changes, it will send Basic Set Command to these devices. It supports upto 5 Node IDs. 3rd AG: to control the associated devices synchronously. When S2s state changes, it will send Basic Set Command to these devices. It supports upto 5 Node IDs. Note: Please refer to table Parameters Setting for the detail configurations for AG 2&3. Scene Function:
As a Scene device, it supports Scene Activation CC and Scene Actuator Conf CC ,which make the device can be added into any scene , and supports 255 Scene ID. Meanwhile, It can work as a scene controller to activate Scenes. By configuring the parameters of S2, 3 different scenarios can be realized. The Scene Activation CC can be sent to AG1 (gateway) by one click, double click or hold external button S2. Pls refer to the following table items 11,12&13 for more details in configuration.
