Charging the battery This device has an internal, rechargeable battery. 1. Plug the charger cable into the Party Speaker. 2. Connect the charger to a USB power source. The red indicator light will display during charging. Charging does not start, disconnect the charger plug it in again, and retry. Charging the battery fully may take up to 3 hours. 3. When the battery is fully charged, the red indicator light will turn off. Disconnect the charger from the USB power source and the Party Speaker. The fully charged battery has power for up to 4-5 hours of music time or up to 240 hours of standby time. However, the talk and standby times may vary when used with different devices, settings, and environments. Battery Information Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. The full performance of a new battery is achieved only after two to three complete charge and discharge cycles. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually wear out. Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger, overcharging may shorten its lifetime. If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time. Never use any charger that is damaged. Leaving the device in hot or cold places will reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery. Optimal temperature for the battery is between 59F and 77F. Be sure that you have completely charged the battery prior to first use to maximize the batterys lifespan. Once the item connected to a power source, it will automatically begin charging ( 3~4 hours to fully charge the lithium battery ). Even if the battery power is low, it will power on after connected to a power source for about five minutes. When the battery power is low, the battery indicator light is red . When the battery fully charge, the indicator light will turn off. With standard usage, a fully charged battery can play for about 1~2 hours. Battery can be recharged about 300 times in its lifetime. When not in use, the speaker should always be set OFF to prevent the unit from draining the battery. When the unit is not used for prolonged periods of time, the battery will gradually lose its power. It is recommended to fully charge the battery at least every 60 days.
