SNAP CLIP Installation Guide 1) Remove battery tab and press button. The light on the button of the SNAP CLIP will flash for 35 seconds to allow you to pair. 2) Look for 'SNAP CLIP' on the Bluetooth menu of your phone, tablet, or laptop and select 'pair'. 3) Use the clip to attach to your pocket, hat, belt, etc. when in use. Secure the included key ring to a zipper or keychain to store the SNAP CLIP when not in use. SNAP CLIP is always on, there is no way to turn it off. After 12 hours of inactivity, SNAP CLIP will go into sleep mode to conserve battery life. Press the button once per day to wake the SNAP CLIP. Bluetooth SNAP CLIP uses Bluetooth low energy (BLE) which has a wireless range of 30 feet
(~10m). When the SNAP CLIP is out of range of your device it will flash for 35s, or until SNAP CLIP is brought into rage of the device it has been paired with. You do not need to re-pair the device If your device is turned off or the SNAP CLIP goes out of range, the SNAP CLIP will automatically pair when it sees a device it has been paired with. SNAP CLIP will occasionally drop connection with a device and will require going to the bluetooth menu and re-pairing with the device. This condition is common to all Bluetooth devices and rarely happens with SNAP CLIP. A single device can be paired with multiple SNAP CLIPs. How to Change the Battery:
Twist the back clip while holding button top (fig.1). Remove battery from the metal battery holder. The CR2032 3V battery will last up to one year under normal use conditions. In sleep mode, the battery can last up to 12 years. Troubleshooting:
If light doesnt blink when you press the button, the battery tab may still be in place, or the battery may be dead or missing. Open the unit to check the battery.
