It is vitally important that you and your dog remain safe while learning during on-leash training. You must also be physically strong enough to restrain your dog when he tries to chase. Risk of skin damage. Please read and follow the instructions in this manual. Proper t of the collar is important. A collar worn for too long or made too tight on the pets neck may cause skin damage. Ranging from redness to pressure ulcers; this condition is commonly known as bed sores. Avoid leaving the collar on the dog for more than 12 hours per day. When possible reposition the collar on the pets neck every 1 to 2 hours. Check the t to prevent excessive pressure; follow the instructions in this manual. Never connect a lead to the electronic collar; it will cause excessive pressure on the contacts. When using a separate collar for a lead, dont put pressure on the electronic collar. Wash the dogs neck area and the contacts of the collar weekly with a damp cloth. Examine the contact area daily for signs of a rash or a sore. If a rash or sore is found, discontinue use of the collar until the skin has healed. If the condition persists beyond 48 hours, see your veterinarian. 02 Table of Contents How the System Works.........5 Features5 Key Denitions....6 Operating Guide.......11 Prepare the Remote Transmitter........11 Charge the Remote Transmitter..........11 Turning ON the Transmitter......11 Transmitter Digital Display........11 Transmitter Battery.....11 Prepare the Receiver Collar........12 Charge the Receiver Collar.......12 To Turn the Receiver Collar On........12 To Turn the Receiver Collar Off........12 Test the Shock Function.......13 Fit the Receiver Collar......14 FAQs............................................................16 03 Components 1 REMOTE TRANSMITTER COLLAR RECEIVER FOR DOG 1 COLLAR RECEIVER FOR DOG 2

While the shock is unpleasant, it is harmless to your pet. Electronic training devices require interaction and training from the owner to achieve desired results. Q: How old does a pet have to be before using the Dr.Trainer?
Your pet should be able to learn basic obedience commands such as Sit or Stay. Pets should be at least 6 months old before using the Trainer. Q: Once my pet is trained and has been obeying my commands, will he have to continue to wear the Receiver Collar?
Probably not. He may need to wear the Receiver Collar from time to time for reinforcement. Q: Is the Receiver Collar waterproof?
Yes. All of the Dr.Trainer Receiver Collars are waterproof. However, please do NOT use the shock button when the dog is in water. Q: Can I use the trainer with more than one pet?
Yes. You need to purchase the Two Dog Version of the product, which comes with two receivers and one remote. Q: Can I use the Dr.Trainer on aggressive pets?
We do not recommend any of our products to be used on aggressive pets. We recommend you contact your local veterinarian or professional trainer to determine if your pet might be aggressive. 16 FAQs Q: Why my pet is not responding when I press a button?
Check to see if the Receiver Collar has been turned on. If your range has reduced from the rst time you have used it, please check to see if the battery is low in either the Remote Transmitter or Receiver Collar. You can verify the Receiver Collar is delivering shock to your pet by placing the Test Light, enclosed in your kit, on the Receiver Collar. Please refer to the Test Light Instructions section for details. Increase the correction level. Make sure the Receiver Collars Contact Points are placed snugly under your pets skin. When the shock is activated, the contact points will pop up and deliver shock against your pets skin. Q: Why the Receiver Collar wont turn on?
Make sure the Receiver Collar has been charged. Q: Why the Receiver Collar is not responding to the Remote Transmitter?
Verify the Receiver Collar has been turned on. Refer to Turning the Receiver Collar On and Off. 17 IMPORTANT!
Please noted that, as the maximum shock level can be detrimental to dogs that are sensitive to electric shock and different breeds of dog react differently to the same level of shock stimulation, it is highly recommended that you should always start from the lowest intensity level, i.e. Level 1, and pay close attention to your dogs reaction when increasing the shock level. 18 FCC Statement This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC rules.
