Horizon Hobby disclaims all liability outside of the intended purpose and will not provide warranty service related thereto. 3 GENERAL BINDING TIPS AND FAILSAFE The included receiver has been specifically pro-

grammed for operation of this aircraft. Refer to the receiver manual for correct setup if the receiver is replaced. Keep away from large metal objects while binding. Do not point the transmitters antenna directly at the receiver while binding. The orange LED on the receiver will flash rapidly when the receiver enters bind mode. Once bound, the receiver will retain its bind settings for that transmitter until you re-bind. If the receiver loses transmitter communication, the failsafe will activate. Failsafe moves the throttle channel to low throttle. Pitch and roll channels move to actively stabilize the aircraft in a descending turn. If problems occur, refer to the troubleshooting guide or if needed, contact the appropriate Horizon Product Support office. HOLD BIND THE TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER Binding is the process of program-

ming the aircraft receiver with the identification code of the transmitter so the receiver will only connect to that specific transmitter. To re-bind the transmitter and receiver:

1. Power OFF the transmitter. 4 2. Set the throttle stick to the low position and all other controls to neutral.*Ensure the aircraft is immobile. IMPORTANT: The throttle will only arm if the transmitter throttle control is at the lowest position. 3. Connect the flight battery to the ESC. The receiver LED Pattern cycles between DSMX and SLT approximately every 20 seconds. The receiver LED is visible with the wing removed. Transmitter DSMX SLT 4. Press and hold the bind button (button A) on the trans-

mitter while powering ON the transmitter. The receiver LED will glow solid when the receiver and transmitter are bound. The aircraft will initialize and the controls will function normally. rapid constant flashes 3 rapid flashes, 1 pause (repeat) Once properly bound, the receiver and transmitter will retain their bind for future flights.

* Failsafe The receiver stores the position of the transmitter throttle control at the time of binding as the failsafe position. If the receiver should ever lose communication with the transmitter, the failsafe function will activate. Failsafe moves the throttle channel to its preset fail-

safe position (low throttle) that was stored during binding. All other control channels move to put the aircraft in a slowly descending circle until radio link is re-established. 5 1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY What this Warranty Covers Horizon Hobby, LLC, (Horizon) warrants to the original purchaser that the product purchased

(the Product) will be free from defects in materials and work-

manship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. What is Not Covered This warranty is not transferable and does not cover (i) cosmetic damage, (ii) damage due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, commercial use, or due to improper use, installation, operation or maintenance,

MAINTENIR ENFONC Chargement de la batterie de lappareil Laffectation est le processus de programmation du rcepteur de lavion avec le code didentification de lmetteur de manire ce que le rcepteur se connecte uniquement cet metteur en particulier. Pour raffecter lmetteur et le rcepteur:

1. teignez lmetteur. 2. Placez la manette des gaz sur la position basse et toutes les autres commandes sur la position neutre.*

Assurez-vous que lappareil est immobile. IMPORTANT: Les gaz ne sactiveront que si la manette des gaz de lmetteur est dans sa position la plus basse. 16 3. Raccordez la batterie de vol au variateurESC. Le rcepteur alterne entre les technologiesDSMX et SLT environ toutes les 20secondes. La DEL du rcepteur est visible mme lorsque laile est retire. Configuration de la DEL metteur DSMX Clignotement rapide et constant SLT 3clignotements rapides, 1pause (rptition) 4. Maintenez enfonc le bouton daffectation (bouton A) de lmetteur tout en lallumant. La DEL du rcepteur sallume de manire continue lorsque le rcepteur et lmetteur sont affects. Lappareil sinitialise et les commandes fonctionnent normalement. Une fois correctement affects, le rcepteur et lmetteur le resteront pour les prochains vols.

* Scurit intgre Le rcepteur conserve la position de la commande des gaz de lmetteur au moment de laffectation comme tant la position de scurit intgre. Si le rcepteur perd toute communication avec lmetteur, la fonction de scurit intgre sactive. Le mode scurit intgre fait passer le canal des gaz vers la position de scurit intgre prdfinie (faible ouverture des gaz) qui a t enregistre pendant laffectation. Tous les autres canaux de commande se dplacent pour que lappareil descende lentement en cercles jusqu ce que la liaison radio soit rtablie. 17 Garantie limite Dure de la garantie Garantie exclusive - Horizon Hobby, LLC (Horizon) garantit que le Produit achet (le Produit ) sera exempt de dfauts matriels et de fabrica-
