Bluetooth turned on. microSD card installed. 3 2 Getting Started Installing the SIM Card and Battery When installing the SIM card, ensure that the chip of SIM 1 faces down and the chip of SIM 2 faces up. Before installing the subscriber identity module (SIM) card, ensure that the battery is removed. Removing the Battery and the SIM Card Before removing the battery and the SIM card, ensure that your phone is powered off. And before removing the SIM card, ensure that the battery is removed. 4 Installing and Removing a microSD Card Before installing or removing a microSD card, power the phone off. When the phone is powered back on, it indicates whether the microSD card has been installed correctly. You can expand your phone's memory capacity by installing a microSD card. When installing a microSD card, ensure that the gold contact area faces down. Charging the Battery 1. Connect the small end of the USB cable to the phones charger jack and the larger end to the charger. 2. Connect the charger to a power socket. 5 3. Wait until the battery is fully charged. While the battery is charging, the charging icon blinks. When the charging icon is stops blinking, the battery is fully charged. 4. Unplug the charger from the power socket and the USB cable from the phone. Calibrating the Screen when power on the phone, forced calibration Press and hold will be started. Phonebook Add a new contact or a new group. Edit a contact or a group. You can also make a call or send a message to a contact.

Media player Access the media player. You can tap to configure the relevant settings, and tap to play audio clips.

Widgets Tap Widgets to access the widget tab. Navigating with the Main Menu To navigate with the main menu:

Tap Back to return to the previous screen, press to return to the main menu in an application screen or press to return to standby mode in the main menu. 7 Phone Lock The phone lock protects your phone from unauthorized use. The preset phone unlock code is 1234. By default, the phone lock is disabled. Once the phone lock is enabled, you must enter the phone unlock code each time you powered on the phone. To enable the phone lock:

Enter a new phone unlock code, and tap OK. 7. Enter the new phone unlock code again to confirm it. Mass Storage When the phone is connected to a personal computer (PC) using a USB cable, Mass storage is displayed on the phone screen. In Mass storage mode, you can manage the files stored on the phone and its microSD card from PCs file manager utility. 8 The phone and its microSD card are displayed as removable disks on the PC. You can perform the following operations:

Double-click a disk to open it.

Copy, paste, or delete files.

Disconnect the phone from the PC.

Ensure that you connect and disconnect the USB cable properly.

Do not run the formatting command on the PC to format the phone memory; doing so may permanently damage the phone memory.

You can transfer data and charge the battery by connecting the phone to the PC with the USB cable. PIN and PUK The personal identification number (PIN) protects your SIM card from unauthorized use. The PIN unblocking key (PUK) unlocks a blocked PIN. Both the PIN and the PUK are provided with the SIM card. For details, contact your service provider. To enable the PIN lock:

1. Tap and select

> Security settings > SIM 1 security or SIM 2 security > PIN lock. 2. Tap the text box to access the on-screen keypad. 3. Enter the PIN, and tap OK. If you enter the incorrect PIN a specified number of times the phone prompts you to enter the PUK. For details about services and charges, contact your service provider. You do not need to configure your data account and WAP settings to access WAP sites. Editing a Data Account Data accounts supported by your service provider already exist. To edit a data account:

A Bluetooth headset is not included in the product package and you must purchase it separately. Transferring Data To transfer data, do the following:

Triggering of sparks in such areas could cause 36 an explosion or a fire, resulting in bodily injuries or even deaths. Do not power on your device at refueling points such as service stations.
