Quick Start Guide TUV SUD 9672XXXX_01 TUV SUD Installing the SIM Card Open the nano-SIM card cover and insert the card into the card slot in the direction shown in the following figure (with the chip side facing up and the notch facing inward). Firmly close the nano-SIM card cover when not in use to prevent water from entering the device. To remove the nano-SIM card, gently press the nano-SIM card in until it clicks. The card will automatically pop out. 1 TUV SUD Powering on Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to power on your locator. When the indicator turns steady blue, your locator is connected to the network. To power off your locator, press and hold the Power button until you hear a beep. Downloading the HUAWEI Locator App Scan the following QR code with your phone, or go to Google Play/App Store to download and install the HUAWEI Locator app. 2 TUV SUD Pairing 1. Open the HUAWEI Locator app and log in as prompted. 2. Touch at the bottom of the home page and complete pairing as prompted. In order to provide better service, this device will automatically obtain software update information from Huawei or your carrier after connecting to the Internet. This process will use mobile data, and requires access to your device's unique identifier (IMEI/SN) and the service provider network ID (PLMN) to check whether your device needs to be updated. In addition, this device supports the automatic downloading and installation of important updates from Huawei or your 7 TUV SUD carrier in cases of emergency. This function is enabled by default. To disable this function, please log in to the app and make the corresponding changes in the app. 8 TUV SUD Safety information This section contains important information about the operation of your device.
