HYCORE offers methods for only installing on common bikes and recommends installation by experienced bike experts. This manual contains necessary instructions for direct installation. If you want advice on installment, please contact the seller who made the initial purchase. Be sure to remove the battery for safety when installing. The weight balance without the battery may cause the wheel to rotate so please be aware. 5 How to install Hycore T1 Bike Requirements for Installation 01 Installation of the product is only feasible on specified wheel size 02 The bicycle frame must be at least 125mm wide to install the product as shown in the figure. 125mm 6 How to install Hycore T1 Step 1 (*) Move the rear derailleur to the outermost position by operating the shift lever. Step 2 Release the brake cable so that it does not interfere when removing the wheel. Step 3 Turn your bike upside down. Step 4 Remove the axle nuts and detach the rear wheel from the frame.
(*) : Only for multi-gear bike 7 How to install Hycore T1 Step 5 Combine the washer to Hycore T1. Step 6 (*) Hold the derailleur as shown picture. Step 7 Push HYCORE T1 into the frame and place the freewheel on the chain. Step 8 Fit the D-cut of axel into the dropout of the bike. 8 How to install Hycore T1 Step 9 Make sure that D-cut of axel and dropout matches and check that chain is installed properly. Step 10 Tighten the left and right axle nuts using a wrench. O X The wheel should be located in the middle of the fork so that there is no left or right interference. Brake may not work if not located in the center. 9 How to install Hycore T1 Step 11 Flip your bike back to the right position. Step 12 Connect the brake cable and check that the brake is working properly. Installation with Multi-gear Installation with Disc Brake Install Hycore T1 after shifting down the rear derailleur so that it is outermost position. After installing, adjust the gear step so that the transmission and pulley are straight. A disk rotor with a diameter of 180 and an adapter is required. Make sure that there is enough space between Hycore T1 and the frame to install caliper. Installation may not be possible depending on the type of bike. 10 How to install Hycore T1 Installing Battery Step 1 Turn the lock pin anticlockwise to open the case. Step 2 Slide the battery along the guidelines between the battery and the frame. Step 3 Connect the connector of Hycore T1 to the connector of the battery pack. Step 4 Close the case by turning the lock pin clockwise. 11 How to ride Hycore T1 Before Your First Ride For safety reasons, Hycore T1 may stop or does not operate at a speed of 5km/h or less but after reaching a speed of more than 5km/h by pedaling for several times, it will work immediately. A sudden acceleration due to motor operation by beginners or inexperienced users operating the handles can be dangerous and may lead to accidents. Therefore, when operating Hycore T1 for the first time, be sure to practice enough in the area where its obstacle free and go out to the road after getting used to the riding. Also, be sure to wear helmet and protective gears and follow the traffic rules even if you are skilled to ride, so please refrain from riding when you are under bad condition. Hycore T1 is electrically operated, so it is vulnerable to water and can cause serious accidents when operating in rain or snow. Do not ride when it rains. 12 How to ride HYCORE T1 HYCORE T1 is not recommended for pregnant women and children under the age of 16. Check List for Safety Make sure enough air pumped in the tire. Make sure the bolts are tight. Make sure the brake is operating correctly. Make sure the chain is tight. Make sure the derailleur and pulley are straight. Maximum Weight The total weight of rider, baggage and bike must not exceed 180kg (396 lbs). 13 How to ride Hycore T1 Charging Battery Step 1 Connect the charger to the battery charging socket first, then connect the charger to the power socket. Step 2 When the LED lamp is red, it is charging. Step 3 The LED lamp is green, the battery is fully charged. Step 4 When charging is complete, remove the power plug first and disconnect the battery and charger. 14 How to ride Hycore T1 Precautions Using Battery Do not attach the battery near water or fire. 01 Do not charge the battery where there is a 02 risk of fire. 03 Using a battery or charger with wet hands may cause a serious accident. 04 If there happens to be a strange smell during charging or temperature of the battery or charger goes up, please stop charging and contact your first seller. Battery disengagement proceeds in reverse 05 order. 15 How to maintain Hycore T1 Cleaning Be sure not to let water go inside when cleaning because electric wiring is placed in the inner part of the case. It may cause electric shock or other accidents. Wipe the surface with a wet tissue or a soft cloth. Storing Please keep in a box. Battery must be stored separately. When storing in a separate box, be sure to fill the cushioning material to prevent damage to the product. Recommended storage temperature :
