This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Read these instructions. 2. Keep these instructions. 3. Heed all warnings. 4. Follow all instructions. 5. Do not use this device near water. 6. Clean only with a dry cloth. 7. Only use attachments/accessories specified and/or included by the manufacturer. 8. Refer all servicing and installations to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped. 7 WARNINGS 1. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture. 2. Do not expose this apparatus to dripping or splashing, and do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on or near the apparatus. As with any electronic products, use care not to spill liquids into any part of the product. Exposure to liquids may create a failure and/or fire hazard. 3. After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the batteries several times to obtain maximum performance. 9. (20C) 9F (5C). 10. The battery provided with your system is not user serviceable. Contact HyVibe for all battery related issues. 9 BATTERY WARNINGS Only use the included 2200mAh / 7.4V Li-ion battery. Do not open or mutilate the batteries. Released electrolyte from the batteries is corrosive and may cause burns or injury to the eyes or skin. The electrolyte may be toxic if swallowed. Exercise care when handling the batteries. Do not allow conductive materials such as rings, bracelets or keys to touch the batteries, otherwise a short circuit may cause the batteries and / or conductive material to overheat and cause burns. Expected battery life: 8 hours of full use. INSTALLATION Refer all installations to qualified service personnel. Contact HyVibe (info@hyvibe.audio) for more information. 10 USER INSTRUCTIONS 11 CONTROL BUTTONS/KNOBS 12 TURNING ON/OFF To turn the HyVibe System 1 on, quickly press the volume knob. To turn the HyVibe System 1 off, press the volume knob for 2 seconds. EFFECTS MODE The HyVibe System 1 is equipped with preloaded guitar effects. To enter effects mode, scroll the function menu with the up or down button until Effects appears on the OLED screen. Click on the enter/back to enter Effect mode. The OLED screen will then display the name of the effect that is activated. You may scroll through the different effects by pressing the up or down buttons. Effect parameters can be altered with the continuous control lever. The volume of the effect can be raised or lowered with the volume knob. 13 RECORD AND LOOP The HyVibe System 1 is equipped with a recorder and looper. To enter Record and Loop Mode, scroll the function menu with the up or down button until Looper appears on the OLED screen. Click on the enter/back to enter Looper mode. Click the up button to activate the recorder and looper. After pressing the up button you will hear a 4 beat countdown. After the countdown, the recording begins and will record 4 measures of playing from the guitar. The recording will automatically stop and replay. To stop the playback, press the down button. To replay the playback, press the down button. The time signature of the recording can be adjusted in the Metronome mode. 14 SPEAKER MODE The HyVibe System 1 can function as a Bluetooth Speaker. To enter Speaker mode, scroll the function menu with the up or down button until Speaker appears on the OLED screen. Click on the enter/back to enter Speaker mode. To activate/deactivate the speaker scroll with the up/down button to on/off and press enter/back button. Search for and pair with HyVibe on your Bluetooth device. Once connected, your media can be streamed from your Bluetooth device through the HyVibe System 1. 15 AUX IN External pedals, etc. can be plugged into the HyVibe System 1. To access auxiliary in mode, connect a guitar cable from the external device to the input jack. AUX OUT The HyVibe System 1 can be connected to an amplifier when in auxiliary mode. To access auxiliary out mode, connect a guitar cable from the amplifier/pa to the output jack. 16 TUNER The HyVibe System 1 contains a tuner function. To enter the Tuner mode, scroll the function menu with the up or down button until Tuner appears on the OLED screen. Click on the enter/back to enter Tuner mode. When a guitar string is played, the note that it is closest to will appear on the OLED string. When the indicator is to the right of the note, this indicates that it is sharp. Please see picture for reference. METRONOME The HyVibe System 1 contains a metronome function. To enter the Metronome mode, scroll the function menu with the up or down button until Metronome appears on the OLED screen. Click on the enter/back to enter Metronome mode. Once in Metronome mode, you may adjust the beats per minute (BPM) and the time signature of the metronome. Within Metronome mode, when the BPM is indicated, use the volume knob to adjust the BPM higher or lower. The volume knob is also used to adjust the time signature. 17 CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS There is a battery level indicator on the OLED screen. To charge the HyVibe System 1, connect the provided USB-C connector to the Charging Port. Only use the provided charger (5 volt, 2.5a). Refer to the LED on the HyVibe System 1 the LED will blink when charging is taking place and will be solid when the device is fully charged. Disconnect charger when device is fully charged. Contact dealer for replacement charger. WARRANTY Your product is covered by a limited warranty. Details of the limited warranty are provided on the product registration card in the carton. Please refer to the product registration card for instructions on how to register. Failure to register will not affect your limited warranty rights. The warranty information provided with this product does not apply in Australia or New Zealand.
