Detachable Visor Clip Installing Your Carkit Indicator Light To install your carkit, you should first slide the metal visor clip onto the carkit, and then secure the carkit to the sun visor in your car as shown. You may slide the clip onto the carkit in both directions for different driving conditions.

*Multipoint function allows you to pair with two mobile phones simultaneously. When either phone rings, you may pick the call by pressing the MFB. To pair the phones:
1. Pair your headset with the 1st mobile phone as normal 2. Turn the carkit off and repeat the pairing procedure for the 2nd mobile phone 3. Reconnect the 1st mobile phone with the headset 14 9 15 Indicator Light Talk and Standby Time A fully charged battery can offer up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 800 hours of standby time. The carkit remains in standby mode after being turned on. Pairing Your Carkit with a Bluetooth Mobile Phone 1) Ensure the carkit is off. 2) To activate the pairing mode, press and hold the carkits MFB for 8 seconds without releasing your finger until its status indicator flashes blue and red light alternately. 3) Activate your mobile phones Bluetooth, search Bluetooth devices, select i.Carkit 305 and enter the passcode 0000. When the pairing is completed, the carkits status indicator will flash blue light rapidly five times. 10 Factory Reset You may reset the carkit to its default settings. Resetting will also remove the pairing history of your carkit with the mobile phone. 1. Ensure the carkit is turned OFF. Hold the volume key and plug charging cable into the charging socket. The status indicator will alternately flash Red and Blue for 3 times. 2. Release the volume key. 3. The status indicator will stay red again and the carkit is reset. i.Tech Bluetooth carkit is designed to work with Bluetooth devices. Due to large variability between different Bluetooth devices from different manufacturers, interoperability between the carkit and all Bluetooth-enabled products is not guaranteed. Getting Started To use your i.Carkit 305 Bluetooth carkit (carkit), please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure your carkit is fully charged. 2. Pair your charged carkit with a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone. Charging Your Carkit The carkit comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Prior to using the carkit for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. 1) Insert the car charger into the car cigarette socket 2) Plug the USB charging cable into the car charger USB slot 3) Connect the USB charging cable into the carkit charging socket as shown in the figure. 5 Using your Carkit Function Button Audio Long beep Power OFF Press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds Incoming call Answer a call End a call Adjust Volume Voice Dialing*

Repeat steps 1 to 3 to pair both devices again. Using your Carkit Function Button Audio Status Indicator Power ON Short beep Flash blue light 3 times Press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds When you turn on your carkit for the first time, the carkit proceeds into pairing mode automatically, i.e. the status indicator flashes blue and red alternately, so that you can immediately pair it with your mobile phone. Troubleshooting I can hear crackling noise. To receive the best audio quality, it is recommended to place your phone closer to the carkit. I can't hear anything in my carkit. Ensure the carkit is turned on and is properly charged. Ensure the carkit is properly paired with the mobile phone. Make sure that the mobile phone is connected with the carkit if it does not connect, either refer to the mobile phone's Bluetooth menu or by pressing the MFB once (see Using Your Carkit and Pairing Your Carkit with a Bluetooth Mobile Phone). I can't connect my carkit with mobile phone. Ensure your carkit is turned off and is properly charged. Ensure the carkit is properly paired with your mobile phone. 16 17 Troubleshooting (cont'd) Ensure your mobile phones Bluetooth feature is activated. Please refer to your mobile phone user guide for specific instruction. Ensure the carkit is within ten metres range of your mobile phone and there are no obstructions, such as walls or other electronic devices in between. If the above steps do not solve your problem, please recharge the carkit and remove your mobile phones battery for a while. I cant turn off the carkit or the carkit does not response You may do a hardware reset on your carkit if you cant turn it off or it doesnt response. Plug the charging cable to the carkit and then press and hold the volume key and MFB button. Release the both buttons and the status indicator will stay red again and the carkit is reset. 6 12 18 Safety Information (cont'd) Observe all signs and displays that require an electrical device or RF radio product to be switched off in designated areas. These could include hospitals, blasting areas, and potentially explosive atmospheres. Do not clean the carkit while it is being charged. Always disconnect the charger from the carkit before cleaning. Avoid charging the carkit in extremely high or low temperatures. Do not attempt to force open the built-in battery. Only charge the carkits built-in battery in accordance with the instructions described in this user guide. FCC RF Radiation Exposure Statement:

Do not attempt to disassemble the carkit as it does not contain serviceable 20 components. 21 Care and Maintenance (contd) If you do not plan to use the carkit for a long period, please store it in a dry place that is free from extreme temperatures and dust. Use only the charger supplied by the carkits original manufacturer to charge the carkit. Other chargers may look similar but using them could be dangerous and could damage the carkit. If you use the carkit while driving, ensure your full attention and focus. It is your responsibility to drive safely. Consider to pull off the road before making or answering a call. Never leave your carkit above any air bag deployment area inside your car as serious injury may result when an air bag deploys. Never allow children to play with the carkit small parts may be of choking hazard. Do not expose the carkit to liquid, moisture or humidity, or rain as it is not waterproof. Do not keep the carkit near a wash basin or other wet places. Do not leave the carkit in direct sunlight for an extended period of time.
