2 2 2 3 1 Getting Started 1 Install the batteries in the device The device uses two AAA batteries; alkaline batteries are recommended. Do not use old and new batteries together or alkaline, standard, and rechargeable batteries together. IMPORTANT: If the device has been exposed to cold temperatures, allow it to warm to room temperature before you insert batteries. Otherwise, you may damage the electronic components. Remove the cover and insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that the negative end of each battery is pressed against a spring. Then, reattach the cover. Maintenance And Troubleshooting The base will attempt to automatically schedule updates to the SBACCEL when it is idle, but due to unforeseen scheduling this may not always be when it is not in use. The update process takes approximately 5 minutes and no data will be recorded during that process. Recycling Information This electronic product must not be disposed of in municipal waste. To preserve the environment, this product must be recycled after its useful life as required by law.
