Das Gert in der Nhe medizinischer Gerte ausschalten. Bei Strungen sich ggf. beim Hersteller des jeweiligen Gertes informieren. Aufgrund der Anforderungen fr elektromagnetische Straussendungen ist das Gert fr den Einsatz in Industrieumgebungen bestimmt. Fr den Einsatz in Wohnbereichen ist das Gert nicht geeignet. Das Gert darf nur unter den im Datenblatt angegebenen Umgebungsbedingungen verwendet werden. 3 Bestimmungsgeme Verwendung Der Lese-/Schreibkopf DTC600 eignet sich zum berhrungslosen Lesen und Schreiben systemkonformer ID-Tags. Die Daten werden ber CAN-Bus bertragen. 5 4 Funktion 4.1 Funktionsweise Die ID-Tags werden passiv betrieben, d.h. ohne Batterie. Die zum Betrieb notwendige Energie wird vom Lese-/Schreibkopf aufgebracht. Das physikalische Prinzip der Energiebertragung beruht auf der induktiven Kopplung. Die integrierte Antennenspule des Lese-/Schreibkopfes erzeugt ein magnetisches Feld, das zu einem Teil die Antennenspule des ID-Tags durchdringt. Durch Induktion wird dort eine Spannung erzeugt, die den Datentrger mit Energie versorgt. 4.2 bersicht Art.-Nr.:

Die Montage eines Lese-/Schreibkopfes in und auf Metall verringert den Lese-/Schreibabstand. Die unmittelbare Nhe starker HF-Emissionsquellen, wie z.B. Schweitrafo oder Umformer, kann die Funktion der Lese-/Schreibkpfe beeintrchtigen. Informationen zum erhltlichen Montagezubehr sind im Internet abrufbar unter www.ifm.com. 5.2 Hinweise zur ID-Tag Montage Die Montage der ID-Tags in und auf Metall verringert den Lese- und Schreibabstand. Zur Positionierung der ID-Tags sind die Lese-/Schreibkpfe auf der aktiven Flche mit einem Antennensymbol versehen. Es kennzeichnet die Mitte der integrierten Antennenspule und muss mit der ID-Tag Mitte bereinstimmen. Die Ausrichtung der Achsen des Lese-/Schreibkopfes und der ID-Tag-Spule mssen bereinstimmen. DE 5.3 Vermeidung von Strungen Das Gert erzeugt ein moduliertes elektrisches Feld mit einer Frequenz von 13,56 MHz. Um Strungen der Datenkommunikation zu vermeiden, drfen in der Nhe keine anderen Gerte betrieben werden, die in diesem Frequenzband Strabstrahlungen erzeugen. Zu diesen Gerten gehren beispielsweise Frequenzumrichter und Schaltnetzteile. 5.4 Mechanischer Aufbau 1: Aktive Flche 2: Anschluss (um 270 drehbar) 1 2 Abb. 2: mechanischer Aufbau 5.5 Montagemglichkeiten Fr die Montage ist das folgende optionale Zubehr verfgbar. Das Gert kann ohne das Zubehr montiert werden. Verwenden Sie fr die Montage die Gewindehlsen auf der Rckseite des Gertes. Die notwendi-

Fr einwandfreies Funktionieren bitte beachten: Die aktive Flche und ggf. ein Freiraum von Ablagerungen und Fremdkrpern frei halten. Bei einem Austausch des Gertes darauf achten, dass die Montage auf die gleiche Art und Weise erfolgt und der gleiche Gertetyp verwendet wird. Eine Instandsetzung des Gertes ist nicht mglich. Entsorgen Sie das Gert nach Gebrauch umweltgerecht gem den gltigen nationalen Bestimmungen. The device may only be used under the operating conditions specified in the data sheet. 3 Functions and features The DTC600 read/write head is used for non-contact reading and writing of RFID tags that conform to the system. The data is transmitted via CAN bus. 5 4 Function 4.1 Operating principle The ID tags are operated passively, i.e. without battery. The energy required for operation is supplied by the read/write head. The physical principle of the energy transfer is based on inductive coupling. The integrated antenna coil in the read/write head generates a magnetic field which partly penetrates the antenna coil of the ID tag. Installing a read/write head in or on metal reduces the read and write distance. The immediate vicinity of powerful HF emission sources such as welding transformers or converters can affect operation of the read/write heads. Information on the available mounting accessories is available on our website at www.ifm.com. 5.2 Notes on ID tag mounting Installation of the ID tags in and on metal reduces the read and write distances. 6 For positioning the ID tags the read/write heads are marked with an antenna symbol on the active face. It designates the middle of the integrated antenna coil and has to correspond with the middle of the ID tag. The orientation of the read/write head axis must correspond with the axis of the ID tag coil. 5.3 Avoiding interference The device generates a modulated electrical field with a frequency of 13.56 MHz. To avoid interference of the data communication no other devices generating interference emission in this frequency band must be operated in its vicinity. Ne pas transporter et stocker de gaz, liquides inflammables ou de substances explosives prs de l'appareil. 2.3 Perturbations d'appareils lectroniques et mdicaux L'emploi de l'appareil peut affecter le bon fonctionnement des appareils lectroniques qui ne sont pas correctement blinds. Mettre l'appareil hors tension proximit des quipements mdicaux. En cas de problmes, contacter le fabricant de l'appareil correspondant. En raison des exigences relatives aux missions de parasites lectromagntiques, l'appareil est destin l'utilisation dans les environnements industriels. L'appareil n'est pas appropri pour l'utilisation dans des lieux de rsidence. L'appareil ne doit tre utilis que dans les conditions environnantes indiques dans la fiche technique. 5 3 Fonctionnement et caractristiques La tte de lecture/criture DTC600 est utilise pour lire et crire sans contact des TAG RFID compatibles avec le systme. Les donnes sont transmises via le bus CAN. 4 Fonction 4.1 Principe de fonctionnement Les TAG sont passifs, c'est--dire qu'ils fonctionnent sans pile ; l'nergie ncessaire leur fonctionnement tant fournie par la tte de lecture/criture. Le principe physique du transfert de l'nergie repose sur le couplage inductif. La bobine de l'antenne intgre dans la tte de lecture/criture gnre un champ magntique qui pntre en partie la bobine de l'antenne du TAG. Le montage d'une tte de lecture/criture en et sur mtal rduit la distance lecture / criture. A proximit immdiate de sources d'mission HF, par ex. des transformateurs de soudure ou des convertisseurs, le fonctionnement des ttes de lecture / criture peut tre affect considrablement. 6 Pour plus d'informations sur les accessoires de montage disponibles, consulter www.ifm.com. 5.2 Remarques sur le montage des TAG Le montage des TAG en et sur mtal rduit la distance lecture/criture. Pour le positionnement des TAG les ttes de lecture/criture sont fournies avec un symbole d'antenne sur la face active. Il marque le milieu de la bobine de l'antenne intgre et doit correspondre au milieu du TAG. L'orientation de l'axe de la tte de lecture/criture doit correspondre l'axe de la bobine du TAG. FR 5.3 Elimination de perturbations L'appareil gnre un champ lectrique modul d'une frquence de 13,56 MHz. Pour viter de perturber la communication des donnes, il n'est pas permis de faire fonctionner d'autres appareils proximit s'ils gnrent des missions de rayonnements HF dans cette bande de frquences, comme par exemple des variateurs de frquence et des alimentations dcoupage. 5.4 Conception mcanique 1: Face active 2: Raccord (orientable 270) 1 2 Fig. 2: Conception mcanique 5.5 Possibilits de montage Pour le montage, les accessoires en option ci-dessous sont disponibles. Pour un bon fonctionnement, il faut respecter les indications suivantes : la face active et l'espace libre doivent tre dgags de toute prsence de dpts et de corps trangers. Lors du remplacement d'un appareil, s'assurer que le montage est effectu de la mme manire, et que le mme type d'appareil est utilis. L'appareil ne peut pas tre rpar. S'assurer d'une limination cologique de l'appareil aprs son usage selon les rglements nationaux en vigueur.
