1. Open the Battery Compartment 11 by sliding the compartment cover off. 2. Install four (4) AA size batteries, paying attention to the polarity diagram in the compartment. 3. Replace the Battery Compartment cover 11. When the batteries are weak and need replacing, the indicator will blink slowly. BATTERY PRECAUTIONS Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:

PAIRING A BLUETOOTH MOBILE DEVICE You can listen to your music from your Bluetooth enabled mobile device wirelessly through this unit. When your phone rings, simply take the call with a touch of a button. End the call by touching the same button, and return to enjoying your music!
Pair the mobile device as follows:
1. Turn on the speaker by pressing and holding the Power button 4 until the Blue indicator lights and the beeps sound. 2. Turn your mobile device on and place it within 3 feet of the speaker. 3. Press and hold the Power button 4 until the indicator blinks blue and orange, then release. The speaker is now in Pairing mode. 4. Enable the phones Bluetooth; refer to your mobile device for specific instructions, but it is usually located in the Settings menu or similar location. After enabling, this Memorex BlueTooth device will appear as an option. Select it on your mobile device; the units will then pair with each other, two beeps will sound and the orange indicator will light. NOTES:

OPTIONAL CONNECTIONS: LINE IN JACK (REAR OF UNIT) Insert one end of the audio cable (not included) into the LINE OUT jack on your external audio unit and the other end into the Line In jack 9 on the rear of this unit. To listen to the external audio unit, turn this unit on by pressing and holding the Power button 4 until the indicator lights and turn on the external unit as well. Repeatedly press the Source button 5 to select LINE IN mode; the indicator will light purple. The external audio units output sound will be heard through this units speakers. If you wish to listen to the bluetooth mobile device, press the Source button 5 to select iPod mode; the indicator will light orange (or blue if not paired). TROUBLESHOOTING SYMPTOM No sound. 1. Ouvrez la trappe du compartiment des piles ak en la glissant pour la dgager. 2. Installez quatre (4) piles AAA en veillant de respecter la polarit du schma dans le compartiment. 3. Replacez la trappe du compartiment des piles ak. 4. Avec les piles, lappareil dispose dune autonomie de 6 heures pour la lecture de musique. 5. Le cble dalimentation secteur doit tre dbranch de la prise jack secteur correspondante larrire de lappareil pour que ce dernier salimente partir des piles. Lorsque les piles sont faibles et doivent tre remplaces, lindicateur clignote lentement. REMARQUE: Pour vitez dutiliser les piles, il est suggr de brancher lappareil sur le rseau lectrique le plus souvent possible. PRCAUTIONS PRENDRE AVEC LES PILES Suivez ces instructions lorsque vous utilisez des piles dans cet appareil :

PAIRAGE UN PRIPHRIQUE BLUETOOTH ACTIVE Vous pouvez couter sans fil sur cet appareil la musique sur votre priphrique Bluetooth mobile. Lorsque votre tlphone sonne, il vous suffit dappuyer sur un bouton pour rpondre. Terminez lappel en appuyant sur le mme bouton et reprenez lcoute de votre musique!
Effectuer le pairage au priphrique mobile en procdant comme suit :
1. Mettez le haut-parleur en marche en appuyant sur linterrupteur dalimentation x jusqu ce que lindicateur bleu sallume et que des tonalits se fassent entendre. 2. Mettez votre priphrique mobile en marche et placez-le moins de 30 pieds (sans obstruction) du haut-parleur. 3. Appuyez sur linterrupteur dalimentation jusqu ce lindicateur clignote en bleu et orange puis, relchez la touche. Le haut-parleur est maintenant en mode de pairage. 4. Activez la fonction Bluetooth active du priphrique mobile ; la commande se trouve sur votre priphrique mobile, habituellement dans le menu de configuration ou un emplacement similaire. Une fois la fonction Bluetooth active, ce priphrique Memorex apparatra comme une option. Slectionnez-le sur votre priphrique mobile ; les deux appareils se paireront lun lautre, une tonalit se fera entendre et lindicateur orange sallumera. REMARQUES:
Bluetooth active mobile narrive pas se pairer avec lappareil en 3 minutes, lindicateur passera du noir au bleu.
haut-parleur droit pour rduire lcho. COUTE DE LA MUSIQUE 1. Mettez votre priphrique mobile en marche et placez-le moins de 30 pieds (sans obstruction) du haut-parleur. 2. Mettez le haut-parleur en marche en appuyant sur linterrupteur dalimentation x jusqu ce que lindicateur bleu sallume et quune tonalit se fasse entendre. Si lappareil a rcemment t pair avec le priphrique mobile, il mettra une tonalit et lindicateur passera au orange pour indiquer que le pairage a t effectu. Si vous navez pas pair le priphrique mobile ou si lindicateur orange ne sallume pas, pairez les deux appareils en suivant les directives la section Pairage un priphrique Bluetooth active ci-dessus. 3. Dmarrez la lecture de votre musique sur votre priphrique mobile et le son sera reproduit par ce haut-parleur. 4. Le rglage du volume seffectue partir de la commande de volume sur le priphrique mobile. Vous pouvez galement hausser ou baisser le volume en utilisant la touche Volume + v ou Volume - u sur le haut-parleur. Apprciez la meilleure reproduction sonore qui soit. 5. Pour interrompre momentanment la lecture dune chanson, appuyez sur linterrupteur dalimentation x. Pour reprendre la lecture, appuyez de nouveau sur linterrupteur dalimentation x. 6. Vous pouvez faire fonctionner le priphrique mobile en utilisant ses propres commandes conformment au guide dutilisation de lappareil. 7. Pour mettre lappareil hors tension, appuyez sur linterrupteur dalimentation x jusqu ce que lindicateur steigne et quune srie de tonalits se fassent entendre. REMARQUE: Si le volume est rgl au niveau maximal ou minimal et que lon appuie sur la touche de hausse (Vol +) v ou de baisse du volume (Vol -) u, lindicateur orange sallumera. TRAITEMENT DES APPELS 1. Lorsque le priphrique mobile est pair et que le haut-parleur est en marche, la rception dun appel, la musique sinterrompra et la sonnerie se fera entendre par lentremise du haut-parleur. 2. Appuyez sur le bouton servant rpondre aux appels et utilisez le haut-parleur (et le microphone intgr) pour prendre lappel. 3. Une fois lappel termin, appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton
