market solutions for a wide range of M2M applications. The gateway comes integrated with GSM/GPRS module and a wireless access point network (WAN) from Monnit, the leader in low cost wireless sensors. iMetrikM2Ms cellular gateway is specifically designed to respond to the increasing market need for global technology that accommodates a variety of vertical M2M application segments and remote wireless sensor management solutions. The gateway comes pre-activated on the GSM network, avoiding the need to negotiate for mobile operator connectivity contracts and configuration set-up. Getting Started The Cellular Gateway runs on AC/DC adaptor, also there is an internal rechargeable battery back-up in the event of an AC power failure. 1. Plug the AC adaptor in the AC adaptor jack and power on the gateway. 2. Check the LED indicators (Fig 3) sequence as shown in the description section and verify that at the end all three LED are green. 3. Use an external Monnit wireless sensor switch (supplied by Monnit) to verify the unit is working properly:
a. Activate the sensor to send the signal to the unit b. Verify the sensor LED 3 is blinking c. Check the LED sequence (figure 3) and wait until all three LEED are green d. Go to Monnit portal (www.monnit.com) and login into your account to check if the signal from the sensor has been received.
