What is covered and for how long?

ALL PRODUCTS: inMusic Brands, Inc. ("inMusic") warrants to the original purchaser that Akai Professional ("Akai Pro") products and all other accessories are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the period commencing upon the date of purchase from an authorized Akai Pro dealer and continuing for the following period of time after that date for one (1) year. inMusic warrants factory-refurbished merchandise to be free of material and operational defects for a period of ninety (90) days from the original date of retail sale. This refurbished merchandise warranty is not transferable. What is not covered? This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon proper use of the product by the purchaser. This Limited Warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by improper installation or improper connection to any peripheral

Damage caused by an external electrical fault

Damage from use of parts not manufactured or sold by Akai Pro

Product purchased from anyone other than an Akai Pro authorized dealer

Modifications to product not approved in writing by Akai Pro

Equipment that has the serial number removed or made illegible

Normal cosmetic and mechanical wear

Damage or loss during transit to an Authorized Akai Pro Repair Center

Units that are purchased and/or located outside of the continental USA What are inMusic's obligations? During the applicable warranty period, Akai Pro will repair or replace, at Akai Pro's sole option, without charge to the purchaser, any defective component part of the product. To obtain service under this Limited Warranty, purchaser must first contact Akai Pro and obtain a return authorization number ("RA#"). Purchaser must then return the product to Akai Pro in an adequate container for shipping, accompanied by purchaser's sales receipt or comparable proof of sale showing the date of purchase, the serial number of the product, and the seller's name and address. To obtain an RA# and assistance on where to return the product, contact Akai Pro customer service at 401-658-4032. Upon receipt, Akai Pro will repair or replace the defective products. Akai Pro may, at Akai Pro's sole option, use rebuilt, reconditioned, or new parts or components when repairing any product or replace a product with a rebuilt, reconditioned, new or comparable product. Repaired products will be warranted for a period equal to the remainder of the original Limited Warranty on the original product or for 90 days, whichever is longer. All replaced parts, components, boards, and equipment become the property of Akai Pro. If Akai Pro determines that any product is not covered by this Limited Warranty, purchaser must pay all parts, shipping, and labor charges for the repair or return of such product. What are the limits on inMusic's liabilities? All the slide faders are subject to wear. Excessive force can wear out the fader quickly. User replaceable slide faders are not a warranted item. Never use spray cleaners on the slide controls. Residues cause excessive dirt build-up and this will void your warranty. In normal use slide controls can last for many years. If they malfunction (usually because of a dirty or dusty environment) consult a professional technician. Always make sure that AC power is OFF while making any connections. Use appropriate cables throughout your system. Do not use excessively long cables (i.e. over 32 feet /

10 meters). Be sure plugs and jacks are tightly mated. Loose connections can cause hum, noise or intermittents that could easily damage your speakers. Make the input and output connections with readily available low-capacitance stereo cables. Quality cable makes a big difference in audio fidelity and punch. See your Akai Pro dealer or an electronics or audio specialist store if you are not sure which cables to use. Never attempt to make any adjustments other than those described in this manual, or repairs. Take the unit to your dealer or to an authorized Akai Pro Service Center. Always remember: "TURN AMPS ON LAST AND OFF FIRST." Begin with master faders or volume controls on minimum and the amplifier gain/input control(s) down. Wait 8 to 10 seconds before turning up the volume. This prevents transients which may cause severe speaker damage. Use restraint when operating controls. Try to move them slowly. Rapid adjustments could damage equipment due to amplifier clipping. Avoid amplifier "clipping" at all costs: this occurs when the red LEDs (usually on the front panel of most professional power amplifiers) start flashing. "Clipping" is when the power amplifier is distorting and working beyond its limits. Amplifier distortion is THE major cause of speaker failure. To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture. Never place cans of beer, soda, glasses of water or anything wet near or on top of the unit!

Insert the dust cover into the space between the hinges to clasp the dust cover (see images below). Flip up the hinges so they are in the upright position (see images below). Note: BT100 will connect to the closest Bluetooth speaker that is near it. Note: Maximum range will be achieved when using devices with Bluetooth 4.0 or higher. Play music on your BT100 turntable. If you are connected to a Bluetooth speaker with a play/pause button, and do not hear audio, try pressing the play/pause button. Windows 8: From the Start menu, click the lower-left corner of the screen to bring yourself to the Desktop. In the bottom-right corner of the Taskbar, locate the Volume Control "Speaker" icon. The turntable is powered on but the motor is not spinning:

o Ensure that the turntable belt is properly installed under the platter. See Setup > Attaching the Turntable Belt for more information. If you are recording to a computer:

o Make sure that BT100 is powered on and that the needle is on the record. o Make sure BT100 is selected as your computer's default recording device. o If you are listening through your computer's speakers, make sure those speakers are selected as your computer's default playback device. Alternatively, connect BT100s RCA outputs to a stereo system or powered speakers.

(Note: The RCA outputs monitor the signal coming out of the turntable, not the signal coming from your computer.) o Disconnect then reconnect the USB cable connecting BT100 to your computer. I'm not hearing any audio when playing music:

If you are playing music from vinyl:

o Make sure that BT100 is powered on and that the needle is on the record. o Connect BT100's RCA outputs to a stereo system or powered speakers. If you are playing music from your computer:

o Make sure your software music player's volume is turned up. o Make sure your computer's volume is turned up. o Make sure your computer's speakers are selected as your computer's default playback device.

o Ensure the 33/45 RPM Selector is set to the correct speed for your record. The Bluetooth speaker that I want is not pairing to BT100. speaker you want will pair. I am connected to a Bluetooth speaker but do not hear any audio. o Turn off or move other nearby Bluetooth speakers over 30 ft. Appuyez sur la touche Start afin que l'appareil dplace automatiquement le bras de lecture. Jumelage de la platine vinyle BT100 une enceinte Bluetooth La platine vinyle BT100 dispose dun metteur Bluetooth afin de transmettre le signal audio sans fil vers une enceinte Bluetooth. 1. Mettez lenceinte Bluetooth sous tension et assurez-vous quelle est en mode jumelage. 2. Mettez la platine vinyle BT100 sous tension. 3. Enfoncez puis relchez la touche Bluetooth de la platine vinyle BT100 afin de jumeler votre appareil Bluetooth. Lorsque la platine vinyle BT100 est connecte lenceinte Bluetooth, la DEL Bluetooth devient bleue. Votre enceinte Bluetooth devrait galement indiquer quelle est connecte. Remarque : La platine vinyle BT100 se connecte lenceinte Bluetooth la plus proche. Si aprs 5 minutes, aucune enceinte Bluetooth nest dtecte, l'metteur Bluetooth devient inactif et la DEL s'teint. Remarque : La plage maximale peut tre atteinte avec lutilisation dappareils dots de Bluetooth 4.0 ou de versions ultrieures. Lancez la lecture de la musique sur la platine vinyle BT100. Si la platine est connecte une enceinte Bluetooth dote dune touche lecture/pause, et que vous nentendez pas de signal audio, essayez d'appuyer sur la touche lecture/pause. Rglez le volume sur lenceinte Bluetooth (sil y lieu), ou le bouton Volume et le contrle du volume sur le BT100me de la platine BT100 afin dajuster le niveau de sortie. Pour supprimer la connexion, appuyez sur la touche Bluetooth de la BT100 ou dsactivez le mode jumelage Bluetooth sur lenceinte Bluetooth. 4. 5. 6. (9,1 m ou plus) ou les mettre hors tension afin de connecter votre enceinte Bluetooth. 23 Enregistrement Utiliser l'application EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter avec un cble USB pour enregistrer de la musique sur votre ordinateur. Le EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter permet de sauvegarder vos enregistrements sur votre ordinateur. Une fois la conversion du disque vinyle termine, vous pouvez graver les fichiers sur CD ou les transfrer sur des lecteurs multimdia. Veuillez utiliser la carte de tlchargement de logiciel afin de tlcharger et dinstaller le logiciel, puis suivre les instructions sur lcran. Veuillez consulter la section Configuration de lordinateur > Configuration de la BT100 comme priphrique denregistrement par dfaut avant de commencer enregistrer. 1. Collegamento del BT100 a un altoparlante Bluetooth L'BT100 dispone di un trasmettitore Bluetooth per l'invio di audio a un altoparlante Bluetooth senza fili. 1. 2. 3. Accendere l'altoparlante Bluetooth e assicurarsi che si trovi in modalit di collegamento. Accendere il giradischi BT100. Premere e rilasciare il tasto Bluetooth sull'BT100 per avviare il collegamento del dispositivo Bluetooth. Una volta collegato l'BT100 all'altoparlante Bluetooth, il LED Bluetooth sar blu fisso. L'altoparlante Bluetooth dovrebbe a sua volta indicare di essere collegato. Nota bene: l'BT100 si collegher all'altoparlante Bluetooth pi vicino. Se dopo 5 minuti non possibile individuare altoparlanti Bluetooth cui collegarsi, il trasmettitore Bluetooth diventer inattivo e il LED si spegner. Nota bene: la portata massima si ottiene servendosi di dispositivi dotati di Bluetooth 4.0 o superiore. Riprodurre musica sul giradischi BT100. Se si collegati a un altoparlante Bluetooth dotato di tasto play/pause e non si sente alcun audio, provare a premere il tasto play/pause. Regolare il volume dellaltoparlante Bluetooth (se applicabile) o la manopola Volume sullBT100 per controllare il livello di uscita. Per annullare il collegamento, premere il tasto Bluetooth sul BT100 o spegnere il dispositivo di collegamento Bluetooth sull'altoparlante Bluetooth. 4. 5. 6. Nota bene: spostare altri ricevitori/altoparlanti Bluetooth fuori dalla portata dell'BT100 (9.1 metri o pi) o spegnerli per collegare l'altoparlante Bluetooth. 31 Registrazione Per registrare musica sul computer, possibile utilizzare il programma EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter e un cavo USB. L'EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter salva comodamente le registrazioni sul computer. Una volta terminato di convertire il vinile, lo si pu masterizzare su un CD o caricare su dispositivi media portatili. Servirsi della scheda di download del software in dotazione per scaricare e installare il software e seguire le istruzioni su schermo. Si veda Configurazione del computer > Configurazione del BT100 come periferica di riproduzione predefinita prima di iniziare a registrare. 1. Una volta installato l'EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter sul computer, servirsi del cavo USB in dotazione per collegare l'uscita audio USB del BT100 ad una porta USB disponibile del computer. 2. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzteil nicht mit dem BT100 verbunden ist. Einsteiger: Nehmen Sie den Plattenteller aus der Verpackung. Legen Sie den Plattenteller mit der Oberseite nach unten auf eine ebene Flche und positionieren Sie den Riemen so, dass er um die Unterseite des Innenrings des Plattentellers geschlungen, gerade zentriert und nicht verdreht ist (siehe Bild rechts). Fhren Sie Ihren Daumen ber das grere Riemenfenster des Plattentellers und heben einen Teil des Riemens vorsichtig an. Heben Sie ihn ber den Plattenteller und platzieren ihn ber der Nut in der Messingmotorspindel, whrend Sie den Plattenteller wieder mit der Mittelspindel ausrichten (siehe Bild rechts). (Hinweis: Die Cinch-Ausgnge berwachen das Signal vom Plattenspieler, nicht das Signal Ihres Computers.) o Stecken Sie auch das USB-Kabel, das das BT100 mit Ihrem Computer verbindet, zuerst ab und anschlieend wieder ein. Ich kann bei der Musikwiedergabe nichts hren:

Wenn Sie eine Vinylplatte abspielen:

(BT100 kann nicht als Abspielgert fr Audio Ihres Computers verwendet werden.) Wenn ich den Plattenspieler verwende, hre ich ein Summen durch meine Lautsprecher oder meinen Laptop:

Wenn Sie mit einem Laptop aufnehmen:

o Bitte verbinden Sie den Laptop an eine geerdete Stromquelle (3 polig). Wenn Sie ber einen Lautsprecher spielen:

o Bitte verbinden Sie diese mit einer geerdeten (3 poligen) Stromquelle. Meine Schallplatte wird nicht mit der richtigen Geschwindigkeit wiedergegeben. Die Tonlage ist zu hoch oder zu tief:

o Stellen Sie sicher, dass der 33/45-Schalter fr diese Schallplatte auf die entsprechende Geschwindigkeit eingestellt ist. Der gewnschte Bluetooth-Lautsprecher kann keine Verbindung zum BT100 herstellen. o Schalten Sie in der Nhe befindliche Bluetooth-Lautsprecher aus oder verschieben Sie andere Bluetooth-

Lautsprecher mehr als 30, so dass nur der gewnschte nchste Bluetooth-Lautsprecher gekoppelt wird. Der gewnschte Bluetooth-Lautsprecher kann keine Verbindung zum BT100 herstellen. o Wenn Sie mit einem Bluetooth-Lautsprecher mit einer Wiedergabe-/Pause-Taste verbunden sind und keinen Ton hren, drcken Sie die Wiedergabe-/Pause-Taste. o Drcken Sie kurz auf die Bluetooth-Taste des BT100, um das Gert vom Bluetooth-Lautsprecher zu trennen. Drcken Sie erneut auf diese Taste, um nocheinmal zu versuchen, eine Verbindung herzustellen. o Schalten das BT100 aus und wieder ein. Drcken Sie anschlieend die Bluetooth-Taste, um erneut zu versuchen, eine Verbindung herzustellen. Mein Smartphone kann keine Verbindung zum BT100 Plattenspieler herstellen. o Der BT100 Plattenspieler agiert als Bluetooth-Sender und sendet die Audiosignale vom BT100 an andere Bluetooth-Lautsprecher. Der BT100 Plattenspieler kann nicht als Bluetooth-Empfnger agieren und Musik von Ihrem Smartphone ber Kopfhrer oder Cinch-Ausgnge abspielen. Die Bluetooth-LED wird kontinuierlich blinken. o Sobald die Bluetooth-Taste gedrckt wird, wird BT100 versuchen mit den nchstgelegenen Bluetooth-

Lautsprechern innerhalb von 5 Minuten eine Verbindung herzustellen.
