The TuneView software takes a snapshot of your iTunes library. This happens the rst time you launch iTunes after rebooting. Since your iTunes library can be dynamic (ie changes when you import a CD, buy something from the iTunes store, delete songs, etc), you should use the TuneView softwares Get iTunes Snapshot button or the use the TuneView remotes Resync iTunes command (in the Wizard menu) anytime you make a change to your library. Step 4 - Finishing Up Once you see your iTunes data on your remote screen, your TuneView is ready for use!
If you do not see your iTunes data on your remote screen, open the TuneView program for diagnostic information. You can also contact Keyspan support for additional assistance. To open the Keyspan TuneView program MAC:
Open the program TVUSB Admin.app located in your Applications folder WINDOWS:
Open the program TuneViewHelper.exe by clicking the Keyspan icon in the system tray
(usually located to the left the of the time). If you do not see the Keyspan icon, launch the TuneViewHelper program (located in START menu > (All) Programs > Keyspan TuneView >
TuneViewHelper Using TuneView Within 75 feet of the dock you will typically nd that the RF signal between the dock and the remote is strong (even when the signal is passing through 1-3 residential walls). In this area it will not matter which direction you are facing when using the TuneView remote. Beyond 75 feet, if the signal is passing through 1 or more walls, you may nd that you need to point the TuneView remote in the general direction of the TuneView dock in order to obtain good performance.

contextual menu based on what you are currently doing. While browsing songs, the Wizard menu will let you jump to the beginning, middle, or end of a list. The Wizard button can also be used as a shortcut to access Mute and to show the current playing songs details (Song Display). Controlling iTunes Controlling iTunes is similar to controlling an iPod. The TuneView remote displays your iTunes content in a method that is similar to an iPod. Your starting point is the TuneView main menu. Scroll up and down the list using the up and down arrow buttons on the remote and select menus using the select button on the remote. You can select a song to start playing it. Note:
As you select and play your iTunes content, you will see a TuneView playlist added to iTunes with content being added and removed from this playlist. This is normal and is being controlled by the TuneView helper app. Controlling Radio via iTunes If you want to select and listen to iTunes radio stations via the TuneView remote, do the following... In iTunes, navigate to Radio Select your radio station and start listening to it Next, drag that radio station name into the iTunes Library You will now see that station added to your library It is important to play the radio station once as iTunes will not add the station until you have played the station once. Repeat this process for every radio station you want to control. When you have nished, switch the to the TuneView helper app and click click Get iTunes Snapshot On the remote, go to the MAIN MENU, go to RADIO - you will see all of radio stations you added to your library.
