6. Roll wheelchair off scale pads bringing wheelchair to patient. Assist patient carefully onto wheelchair. Secure patient to wheelchair as necessary. Return wheelchair onto scale pads as in step 3. 7. Step away from wheel chair approx. 2 meters. Point controller toward wheelchair and patient, please hold controller still without moving until controller is finished weighing the chair. Do not touch chair while wheel chair is being weighed. 8. Press Down arrow to select Weigh Patient + Chair. Press Ok. Controller will begin weighing wheelchair. See fig #7. After controller has completed the cycle, make sure that all 4 pad numbers are indicated with green circles. If all are green, press any button to continue. If all numbers are green, select no, then press ok button. If any pad number was red or yellow, or if controller indicates Comm Error, try again, repeat step 8. Controller will display weight. After controller has completed the cycle, press any button to continue. Controller will display weight. Press Ok. Controller will prompt asking user to 1) use saved chair weight, 2) Weigh chair now, 3) skip calculation. Select Use saved chair weight. Press Ok.
