(for products purchased in the U.S.A.) 1. What is covered and for how long?

All Products: ION Audio warrants to the original purchaser that ION Audio products and all other accessories are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the period commencing upon the date of purchase from an authorized ION Audio dealer and continuing for the following period of time after that date for ninety (90) days. ION Audio warrants factory-refurbished merchandise to be free of material and operational defects for a period of ninety (90) days from the original date of retail sale. This refurbished merchandise warranty is not transferable. 2. What is not covered? This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon proper use of the product by the purchaser. This Limited Warranty does not cover: (a) damage caused by improper installation or improper connection to any peripheral; (b) damage caused by an external electrical fault; (c) damage from use of parts not manufactured or sold by ION Audio; (d) product purchased from anyone other than an ION Audio authorized dealer; (e) modifications to product not approved in writing by ION Audio; (f) equipment that has the serial number removed or made illegible; (g) normal cosmetic and mechanical wear; (h) damage or loss during transit to an Authorized ION Audio Repair Center; or (i) units that are purchased and/or located outside of the continental USA. 3. What are ION Audios obligations? During the applicable warranty period, ION Audio will repair or replace, at ION Audios sole option, without charge to the purchaser, any defective component part of the product. To obtain service under this Limited Warranty, purchaser must first contact ION Audio and obtain a return merchant authorization (RMA) number. Purchaser must then return the product to ION Audio in an adequate container for shipping, accompanied by purchasers sales receipt or comparable proof of sale showing the date of purchase, the serial number of the product, and the sellers name and address. To obtain an RMA number and assistance on where to return the product, contact ION Audio customer service at 401-658-3743. Upon receipt, ION Audio will repair or replace the defective products. ION Audio may, at ION Audios sole option, use rebuilt, reconditioned, or new parts or components when repairing any product or replace a product with a rebuilt, reconditioned, new or comparable product. Repaired products will be warranted for a period equal to the remainder of the original Limited Warranty on the original product or for 90 days, whichever is longer. All replaced parts, components, boards, and equipment become the property of ION Audio. If ION Audio determines that any product is not covered by this Limited Warranty, purchaser must pay all parts, shipping, and labor charges for the repair or return of such product. 4. What are the limits on ION Audios liabilities? THE WARRANTIES GIVEN IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, TOGETHER WITH ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES COVERING ION AUDIO PRODUCTS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. 4 Return Information A return merchant authorization number must be obtained from your local ION Audio representative. For your representative go to ionaudio.com. A copy of the original sales receipt must also be included for the equipment to be repaired under warranty. The faulty equipment must be packed in its original packaging. One additional outer layer of packaging must be included to ensure product safety. Failure to do so may inadequately protect the equipment in transit and therefore jeopardize the warranty. ION Audio will not accept COD shipments and no call tags will be issued for merchandise return. ION Audio will not return repaired merchandise to customers by priority service except by written request at the customers cost. Requests must be submitted in writing with returned merchandise. The defective ION Audio equipment should be sent freight prepaid with the return merchant authorization number printed clearly on the outer packaging and original sales receipt enclosed to your local service center. Important Safety Instructions 1. Read and keep these instructions. Heed all warnings and follow all Instructions. 2. Do not use this apparatus near water (if applicable). 3. Clean only with dry cloth. 4. Do not block any ventilation openings (if applicable). Install in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. Do not install this equipment in a confined or boxed-in space such as a bookcase or similar unit, and maintain good ventilation conditions. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspaper, tablecloths, curtains, etc. 5. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. Do not place exposed flame sources such as lighted candles on the apparatus. 6. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug (if applicable). A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. 7. (If applicable) Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. 8. Only use attachment/accessories specified by the manufacturer. 9. Use only the cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus (if applicable). When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over. 10. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. 11. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped. 12. Power Sources (if applicable): This product should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in these operating instructions, or as marked on the unit. 13. Internal/External Voltage Selectors (if applicable): Internal or external voltage selector switches, if any, should only be reset and re-equipped with a proper plug for alternative voltage by a qualified service technician. Do not attempt to alter this yourself. 14. Water and Moisture (if applicable): This product should be kept away from direct contact with liquids. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus. 15. Caution (if applicable): Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type. Batteries (a battery pack or an installed battery) shall not be exposes to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, etc. 16. (If applicable) Where the mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable. 17. Protective earthing terminal (if applicable): The apparatus should be connected to a mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection. Pathfinder Charger must only be used outdoors with power outlets or extension cords that are rated for outdoor use. Bring Pathfinder Charger indoors during extreme weather. Please do not place Pathfinder Charger in standing water. Please do not connect the power cable to Pathfinder Charger in a wet environment. Make sure the power input, power cable, and power outlet are all completely dry before making any connections. WARNING: Keep any non-water-resistant devices (phones, music players, etc.) in a dry place where they will not be affected by water and cause a risk of electric shock. Off: The lights turn off. This is the default mode when Pathfinder Charger is first powered on. 4. Radio Selector: This button sets the radio to FM, AM, or turns the radio off. 5. AM/FM Presets: Store a favorite radio station and quickly tune to a preset radio station. There are 5 numeric positions to store AM band presets and 10 numeric positions to store FM band presets. To add a preset:

i. Select either the FM or AM band and then use the Tune/Track buttons to select the desired radio station. ii. Press and hold a numeric preset button to assign the current station to that preset number. The display will show SAV to show the station has been saved. To use an added preset, press a preset number once lightly to go to the stored radio station. 4 6. Bass Boost: Press this button to enhance the overall bass frequency response. Press and hold the Bass Boost button to enter Menu mode. The Menu is used for setting the following:

Clock On/Off: Display will show CLO. Then, use the arrow keys to toggle the clock on and off. Display will show ON or OFF. Press the Play/Pause button to select. Clock Set: Clock will start flashing 12:00PM. Use the arrow buttons to select AM or PM. Press Play/Pause to confirm selection. Then, Hours will start flashing. Use the arrow buttons to select the hour. PressPlay/Pause to confirm. Minutes will then begin to flash. Use the arrow keys to scroll through minutes. Press the Play/Pause button to confirm. Alarm On/Off: Display will show ALA. Alarm defaults to off. Use the arrow keys to toggle on/off. Press Play/Pause to confirm selection. If the alarm is set to on, the bell icon will appear. If the alarm is set to off, the bell icon will not appear. Press any button to disable the alarm. The alarm will automatically turn off after 1 minute. Alarm Set: Display will start flashing 12:00PM. Use the arrow keys to choose AM or PM. Hours will start flashing. Use the arrow keys to select, then press play/pause to confirm. Minutes will start flashing. Use the arrow keys to select. Press play/pause to confirm. Voice Prompts On/Off: Display will show VOI (UOI). Use arrow keys to toggle voice prompts On and Off. Press the Play/Pause button to confirm. If the voice prompts are turned off, the speaker will say voice off. If the voice prompts are turned on, the speaker will say voice on. 7. Play/Pause/Link: Press to play or pause a track from a connected Bluetooth device. Press and hold this button to start stereo linking to another Pathfinder Charger speaker. Press this button twice to disconnect the link to another Pathfinder Charger speaker. 8. Tune/Track Buttons: Press these buttons to tune in a radio station or go to the previous/next track on a Bluetooth connected device. To seek (jump to the next available station), hold either button down for a few seconds until it starts to seek a station. The unit will remember the last station it was on and start at that station when powered off and on again. 9. Display: Displays the current radio station, battery status, and Bluetooth status. Charging Indicator: When the power cable is connected, movement of the top battery segment shows the battery is charging. When fully charged, all battery segments will be lit without blinking. When the power cable is disconnected, the battery segment shows the level of the battery. Lightning Bolt Icon: The lightning bolt icon will illuminate when the IEC power cable is connected to wall power. Bluetooth Icon: The Bluetooth icon will not be lit when Pathfinder Charger is first powered on (unless it was previously paired with a device). The Bluetooth icon will be lit solid when a device is paired to Pathfinder Charger. Power Indicator: The power indicator will be lit when Pathfinder Charger is powered on. The power indicator will not be lit when Pathfinder Charger is powered off. 10. Master Volume Control: This adjusts the speakers main mix volume, which includes the Microphone Input, Auxiliary Input, Radio, and the audio of a paired Bluetooth device. 11. Microphone Input with Volume Control (1/4): This mono input accepts a 1/4 (6.35 mm) input such as a microphone, guitar, or other musical instrument. 12. Auxiliary Input: This stereo 1/8 (3.5 mm) input can be used to connect a CD player, MP3 player, or other audio source. 5 13. Speaker Link: Connect two or more Pathfinder Chargers together using a 1/8 (3.5 mm) stereo aux cable from the Speaker Link of one Pathfinder Charger to the Aux Input of the second Pathfinder Charger. A 2 (61 cm) cable is included but a longer one can be purchased from a local electronics retailer. 14. USB Charging Port: Connect your devices charge cable here to charge it. USB charging only functions when the units power is turned on. Note: To charge smartphones and tablets faster, put the devices screen to sleep. 15. Power Cable Input (Back Panel): Insert the included power cable here to charge the unit. Botones de sintonizador/pista: Toque ligeramente estos botones para sintonizar una emisora de radio o pasar a la pista anterior/siguiente de un dispositivo Bluetooth conectado. Para "buscar" (saltar a la siguiente emisora disponible), mantenga pulsado cualquier botn durante unos segundos hasta que empieza a buscar la emisora. Il y a 5 positions numriques pour les stations AM et 10 positions numriques pour les stations FM. Pour mmoriser une station :

i. Slectionnez la bande FM ou AM, puis utilisez les touches Radio afin de syntoniser la frquence de la station dsire. ii. Enfoncez et maintenez une des touches de prrglage afin dassigner la station ce numro de prrglage. L'cran affiche SAV afin dindiquer que la station a t mmorise. Appuyer deux fois sur cette touche permet de supprimer le raccordement en srie dune autre enceinte Pathfinder Charger. Touches de syntonisation/pistes : Ces touches permettent de syntoniser une station de radio ou de passer la piste prcdente/suivante sur un priphrique Bluetooth connect. Pour balayer la bande (passer la prochaine station), maintenez une de ces touches enfonce quelques secondes, jusqu ce qu'il commence rechercher la prochaine station disponible. Lappareil mmorise la dernire station syntonise et souvre sur cette station lorsquil est remis sous tension. 9. cran : Affiche la station radio en cours, l'tat de charge de la batterie et ltat Bluetooth. Indicateur de charge : Lorsque le cble d'alimentation est branch, le mouvement du segment suprieur de la batterie de l'indicateur de charge indique que la batterie est en charge. Lorsque compltement charge, tous les segments de la batterie s'allument sans clignoter. Lorsque le cble d'alimentation est dbranch, le segment de l'indicateur de charge indique le niveau de charge. Icne clair : Licne clair s'allume lorsque le cble dalimentation CEI est branch une prise secteur. Icne Bluetooth : Licne Bluetooth ne sera pas allume lorsque lenceinte Pathfinder Charger est d'abord mise sous tension ( moins qu'elle nait t jumele avec un priphrique auparavant). Licne Bluetooth sallume lorsqu'un priphrique est jumel lenceinte Pathfinder Charger. Indicateur d'alimentation : Lindicateur d'alimentation (point dcimal sur laffichage) indicateur lenceinte Pathfinder Charger est sous tension. Cet vsallume d'alimentation ne sera pas allum lorsque Pathfinder Charger est teint. lorsque 19 10. Volume gnral : Ce bouton permet de rgler le volume du mix gnral qui comprend l'entre microphone, lentre auxiliaire, le syntoniseur et l'audio d'un priphrique Bluetooth jumel. 11. Microphone avec commande de volume (6,35 mm) : Cette entre mono peut accueillir un cble de 6,35 mm (1/4 po) pour microphone, guitare ou un autre instrument de musique. 12. Entre auxiliaire : Cette entre stro 3,5 mm (1/8 po) permettent de brancher un smartphone, un lecteur MP3 ou autres sources audio. 13. Sortie de raccordement en srie : Cette sortie permet de raccorder deux enceintes Pathfinder Charger ou plus, en branchant une extrmit du cble auxiliaire stro de 3,5 mm la sortie de raccordement en srie d'une des enceintes Pathfinder Charger, puis lautre extrmit lentre auxiliaire de la seconde enceinte. Un cble de 61 cm est fourni, mais il est possible de sen procurer un plus long chez tout bon dtaillant lectronique. 14. Port de rechargement USB : Branchez le cble de rechargement de votre priphrique cette prise pour le recharger. Le rechargement de la pile par la connexion USB fonctionne uniquement lorsque lappareil est allum. Remarque : Pour recharger plus rapidement vos smartphones et tablettes, mettez l'cran de votre priphrique en veille. 15. Entre du cble d'alimentation (panneau arrire) : Brancher le cble d'alimentation ci-inclus ici pour d'alimentation l'appareil. Cette surface de rechargement permet de dposer votre tlphone intelligent quip de la technologie Qi et de le recharger sans fil. 2. de quip intelligent Indicateur de charge Qi : Lorsqu'un tlphone la technologie Qi est plac sur la surface de rechargement du panneau suprieur, la DEL bleue du panneau suprieur s'allume et steint lentement afin dindiquer que le rechargement sans fil du tlphone est en cours. Lorsque la batterie est compltement recharge, la DEL steint. 3 1 2 3. Communication en champ proche (CCP) : Aprs avoir appuy et relch le bouton Bluetooth, touchez et maintenez brivement votre appareil compatible et activ sur le logo CCP pour jumeler l'appareil. 20 Jumelage d'un priphrique Bluetooth 1. Veuillez mettre votre priphrique Bluetooth sous tension. 2. Mettez lenceinte Pathfinder Charger sous tension. Si vous avez prcdemment jumel un autre priphrique Bluetooth, l'enceinte Pathfinder Charger se reconnectera cet appareil. Pour supprimer la connexion lorsque l'icne Bluetooth est allume, enfoncez puis relchez la touche Bluetooth. 3. Accdez l'cran de configuration de votre priphrique Bluetooth, recherchez Pathfinder Charger et lancez le jumelage. Remarque : Si votre priphrique Bluetooth vous demande dentrer un code de jumelage, entrez 0000. 4. Pour supprimer la connexion lorsque l'icne Bluetooth est allume, enfoncez puis relchez la touche Bluetooth. 5. Pour jumeler un autre priphrique Bluetooth, rptez les tape 3. Remarque : La plage maximale peut tre atteinte avec lutilisation dappareils dots de Bluetooth 4.0 ou de versions ultrieures.

Jumelage Bluetooth laide d'un module CCP La communication en champ proche (CCP) permet l'change de donnes entre appareils, tel que le jumelage, en effleurant lun des appareils contre lautre. Vrifiez le guide dutilisation de votre appareil afin de dterminer si cette fonctionnalit est prise en charge. Jumelage au Pathfinder Charger laide de la technologie CCP :

1. Afin d'utiliser la fonctionnalit CCP, le priphrique doit tre activ et son cran dverrouill. 2. Entrez dans le menu Rglages de votre priphrique et vrifiez que la fonction CCP est active

( faire uniquement lors du premier jumelage). 3. Mettez lenceinte Pathfinder Charger sous tension. 4. Touchez brivement le logo CCP situ sur le panneau suprieur de lenceinte Pathfinder Charger avec votre priphrique. 5. Suivez les instructions de jumelage qui s'affichent sur votre priphrique. Si votre appareil vous demande dentrer un mot de passe, entrez 0000. 6. Pour supprimer la connexion, effleurez le priphrique contre le logo CCP. Raccordement en srie de deux enceintes Raccorder deux enceintes Pathfinder Charger pour un son stro :

1. Maintenez la touche pour lancer/interrompre la lecture/raccordement enfonce pour accder au mode de raccordement en srie. Lorsque le lien est tabli, le mot LINK s'affiche. 2.
