Introduction Scorpius-R30 is a 2.4GHz wireless MCE keyboard with touchpad and 2 mouse buttons, which replace an additional mouse and save valuable desk space. 20 media center hotkeys provide quick and easy access t to almost all MCE functions with just one click. The keyboard comes with an ergonomic shape and streamlined style, which combines usability and design perfectly. The two-way RF technology will automatically switch between 96channels and 11 IDs/channel when radio band interferences from other surrounded 2.4GHz devices
(such as another Scorpius-R30, Wi-Fi wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g, Bluetooth, DECT digital telephone, etc) are detected. Scorpius R30 is compatible with other 2.4GHz devices. For using USB for Windows XP MCE/VISTA, Scorpius-R30 MCE does not require any driver. Just plug and play. However, the MCE hotkeys wont work, if you are using the keyboard under Windows 2000/XP systems. Switch to live TV if TV is not currently playing. If TV is paused, skip to live programming ID Setting The product has been pre-set and keyboard and dongle receiver are already paired. It is not necessary to do the ID setting when you use Scorpius R30 for the first time. However, the connection may be lost due to RF interferences. Hence it may be necessary to re-set the connection ID. Please follow the process below for the ID setting. Step 1: Plug the dongle receiver into your computer. For best performance, please plug the dongle receiver into the front USB port of your computer, or use the USB extension cable to place the dongle receiver 20cm away from monitor, speaker, power supply, USB hub and other RF interference sources. Step 2: Press the connect button on the dongle receiver. The LED will start to blink. Step 3: Within 8 seconds, please hold press the Fn key till TX blue LED to shine then put your finger away, wait the receiver and keyboard light off . This means that ID setting is completed. Note: If the Wireless Keyboard does not work properly, please go back to step 2. Reminder: For optimal performance place the dongle receiver 20cm away from other RF interference devices such as computer monitors and speakers. Now, enjoy and have fun!
TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE Symptom The LED of dongle receiver does not light or blink when the dongle receiver is plugged into USB port of the computer Possible Reason The computer is off or the USB not provide enough power does port The LED of dongle receiver does not light or blink when a key is pressed or the touchpad is used. For further questions The ID is lost or the distance is beyond RF transmitting range Remedy Turn on your computer or plug the receiver to an USB port with better power supply. You might also use an USB hub with external power.
