~ INSTALLING BATTERTES Your Racer requires four AA batteries or one 6V battery pack (neither supplied) to power the car, and one. r 9V battery (not supplied) for the transmitter. SLE INTHE RACER Your racer uses 4 AA alkaline batteries or a 6V rechargeable battery pack (neither supplied, available at your local RadioShack store) for power.2ab Before you can use a 6V battery pack, you must charge it using a special battery charger (not supplied, available at your local RadioShack store). Follow the chargers instructions to charge the battery pack. You can install and use alkaline batteries while the battery pack is charging. /\
1. Set OFFION on the bottom of the racer to OFF. 2. To access the battery compartment, use a coin to turn the compartment's latch in the direction of the arrow until it stops. The battery adapter or the 6V rechargeable battery pack is released. 3. Tf you are using alkaline batteries, insert 4 AA batteries in the supplied adapter according to the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside.

@ lm Rigi Tf the racers motor runs but it does not respond to the transmitter, move closer to the racer and try again. If someone uses a CB nearby, it might interfere with control of the racer. If this happens, move the racer away from the CB. You cannot operate your racer near devices with transmitters that use the same frequency as your racer
(27 MHz or 49 MHz). Check your racers box to see which frequency your racer uses. If the racer moves slowly and you just installed a fully charged battery pack, check the wheel mechanisms for lint, thread, hair, or dust. wipe it dry immediately. Use and store the vehicle only in normal temperature environments. Handle the vehicle carefully; do not drop it. Keep the vehicle away from dust and dirt, and wipe it with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new. SERVICE AND REPAIR Tf your vehicle is not performing as it should, take it to your local RadioShack store for assistance.
