Slide the transmitter's ON/OFF switch to OFF. 2. Open the battery compartment cover with a Philips screwdriver and place the 4 x AAA batteries in the transmitter as indicated by the polarity symbols ( + and -) marked inside. 3. Secure the cover with a Philips screwdriver. 4X AAA Battery When the transmitters range decreases, replace its batteries. In the Mini Boat The Boat comes with a built-in Ni-MH rechargeable battery for power. Follow these steps to charge the boat from the transmitter. 1. Slide the boats ON/OFF switch OFF. 2. RECHARGE wep, PLUG COVER ON / OFF SWITCH ALIGNMENT Straightness Alignment If the boat does not go in a straight line, turn the helm/rudder at the rear of boat slightly for adjustment. Cautions
~ The unique built-in recharging system in the boat requires running until the power is totally used up after every recharge.
- DO NOT attempt to accumulate power energy by repeat charging without funning the boat. It will NOT improve the battery power nor the battery life and it will damage the built-in rechargeable battery and can cause serious dangers. Operating the Boat 1. Slide the transmitter's ON/OFF switch to ON. The transmitters LED indicator lights up. 2. Use the transmitter contro! buttons to operate and steer your boat as follows:
FORWARD Press A and A to move Forward FORWARD RIGHT TURN
+ Press A and to move Forward Right Turn FORWARD LEFT TURN
- Press and A to move Forward Left Turn
* Release all buttons to Stop REVERSE
* Press V and to move in Reverse 3. When you finish driving the boat, slide ON/OFF on the transmitter and boat to OFF. Control Range When the boat is operated beyond radio signal range, there could be a loss of control. The distance range for most radio-controlled boats is approximately 15 Feet when operating outdoor. (The range is also reduced by electrical or radio interference). Hold transmitter antenna vertical for best reception. Erratic behavior or loss of control of boat is sometimes caused by other RC UNITS operated on the same frequency near by or in an area surrounded by high-tension wires, telephone poles with high-voltage transformers, or even certain buildings. If you encounter this type of behavior, move to a better location to captain your boat. Cautions If the boat gets stuck in any way, immediately release the control button (knob) on the transmitter, then retrieve the boat.
* Dont operate your boat where there are water plants, rubbish, or other obstacles. This could impair propeller and cause damage.
* Dont play when there is a strong water current or when the wind is blowing.
* Never play in ocean (salt) water. This will cause rusting of parts. Use only in clean, fresh water.
* Don't play outdoors during thunderstorms. It is extremely dangerous to touch the propeller while it is spinning.
* When lifting your boat, make sure you hold the body securely.
* Bring the boat back to shore (out of water) before the battery power urns out. Remember to avoid heat, sand and high impact crashes!
* The toy contains tiny pats. Never put it inside the mouth to avoid danger of choking. Useful Hints and Tips
* Two boats of the same frequency cannot be operated together. Both frequencies are available from your retailer.
* When the boat does not respond, slows down or the range is greatly reduced, recharge the boat.
* If the boat fails to respond to controller or there is no light indication on the transmitter after sliding its ON/OFF switch to ON, replace the batteries. Adult supervision is recommended at all times. The boat may not perform normally under strong radio frequency interference, from mobile phones, electrical interference or even certain buildings. If you experience this, move to a better location. WARNING : DO NOT SUBMERGE THE CONTROLLER OR LEAVE THE CONTROLLER FLOATING OR PLACED IN WATER. Batteries Cautions :
+ Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
* Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities. If you do not plan to use the mini boat for several days, remove all the batteries from the TRANSMITTER. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic parts. Never leave dead or weak batteries in the TRANSMITTER.
* Dispose of dead batteries promptly and properly; do not burn or bury them. FCC Declaration of Conformity This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions :
