To set up the receiver (outlet) with connecting device. 2. Remove the plastic battery tab from the battery compartment in the back of the remote control to active the DC 1.5V Type AA alkaline battery. 3. Plug the receiver into an outlet. Plug the devices to be controlled into the outlets on the receiver. 4. To activate the receiver, press the button of the remote control. The LED of the remote control will illuminate momentarily and the LED of the receiver will remain illuminated. 5. To turn off the receiver, press the button on the remote control again. The LED indicator on the receiver will turn off. Note: If you turn off the music when activating the remote control, the power will also be turned off at the same time. Then, remove the battery cover by sliding it in the direction of the curved on the back of the remote control. Remove the spent battery and place a new DC 1.5V Type AA alkaline battery into the Battery Compartment correctly observing the polarity indications (+/-) inside the Battery Compartment.
