All In One Reader User Manual The All In One reader is a RFID proximity card and Bluetooth reader for Kastle access control systems. It is intended to be used in conjunction with an interface board BLE Daughter Board which piggy backs on to a KZDM or KZSRDR Board. Notes on Use:
- Operating Temp: 0-49 degrees C
- Must use 22 AWG or larger with a wire run no longer than 2000 ft
- All Wiring shall be in accordance with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70
- The Reader is to be mounted in a protected premise
- Power to be supplied from KZDM, KZSRDR or UL 294 or UL 603 Listed power supply
- No connection to reader shield per transient test setup To install and use the reader:
Connect the reader wires using wire nuts or beanie wire connectors to the existing wire run coming out of the mounting hole or receptacle box. Make sure to connect all wire by color white to white, green to green, black to black, and red to red. Remove the reader cover to expose the mounting holes. Push wire bundle back in to mounting hole or receptacle box. Mount the reader to the wall / or door frame by securing screws through both mounting holes. Replace the front cover of the reader. Terminate the other end of the wire run with a terminal block as shown below to the Daughter board TB2. After the reader is terminated and connected on both ends and power is applied, the blue LED should turn on and the reader should be ready to use within 0 to 10 minutes (depending on system updates).
