The Handheld should be charged when the battery level has been depleted to one bar. 1. Attach the clip-on charging dock to the Handheld face of the device. Be sure that both guiding pins have been well inserted and that the four battery contacts are not blocked. 10 2. Plug the USB cable into a power source. When plugged into a computer the words "USB MODE"
will appear. If plugged into a wall charger the words "CHARGING"
will appear with a battery icon. 3. Select "BATTERY" from the menu at any time to view the level of battery life. Fully charged, the battery should last for 10 hours or 2.5 rounds. USB MODE CHARGING BATTERY 11 LETS GET STARTED Set up your device for the first time. Satellite Menu 12 Up Select Down TURN THE H40 ON/OFF TURN ON 1. Hold the arrow Down button for 2 seconds to power the H40 on. TURN OFF 2. To turn the h40 off hold the arrow Down button for 5 seconds until you see the mes-
sage "POWER OFF". 13 CHANGING THE TIME When the h40 is booted up for the first time, the date will be displayed as Monday, January 1st. To change the time and date:
1. Press the Menu button and then press the Down button to highlight "SETTINGS", and then press the Select button located in between the Up and Down arrow buttons. 14 2. Highlight "TIME" using the arrow buttons and then select it. 3. Highlight "SET TIME" using the arrow buttons and then select it. 4. Choose "BY GPS" to connect to the satellite and automatically set the time; Or choose "MANUALLY"

Contact Support 21 3. Ensure that your smartphones Bluetooth is activated. 4. On your H40, navigate to the Menu and then use the Up and Down buttons to highlight
"BLUETOOTH", and then press the Select button located in between the Up and Down arrow buttons. Be sure that "ON" is selected. 4 MENU BLUETOOTH BLUETOOTH BATTERY OFF ON 22 On your smartphone, in the app click on the
"NEXT" button to continue. PAIR YOUR DEVICE Follow the steps below to connect your device. 1. On your smart phone, make sure your Bluetooth is set to on. You will find Bluetooth under "Settings". 2. On your TecTecTec device, go to
"Settings" menu and select Bluetooth. Make sure that your Bluetooth is set to "On". CANCEL NEXT 5. The first time you attempt to pair with your H40, the TecTecTec !
Golf GPS App will ask: "Allow TecTecTec Golf GPS to access this devices location?" Allow/Deny. Select "Allow."
WARNING: THIS WILL ONLY BE ASKED THE FIRST TIME YOU ATTEMPT TO PAIR WITH YOUR H40. IF YOU SELECT DENY YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PAIR THE H40 IN THE FUTURE. IF YOU SELECT DENY, YOU WILL NEED TO UNINSTALL THE APPLICATION ENTIRELY AND REINSTALL IT. 6. After the TecTecTec ! Golf GPS App has found the H40, a Bluetooth pairing request will appear on your smartphone "TecTecTec -
Enter PIN to pair the device."
7. Enter the Bluetooth 6-digit passcode provided on the H40 display and select "Pair." (The passcode should be a random six-digit number). 7 000000 25 10. "Update Golf Course" page. Select the Down arrow to begin the course update. The TecTecTec Golf GPS APP will display a clock indicating

GOLF GPS UPDATE GOLF COURSE 31 GOLFING WITH THE H40 When you have arrived at the golf course you can connect the device to a satellite and select the course that you will play. 1. Outdoors, near the course you plan to play, press the SAT button once. The screen will show a satellite icon and the word "SEARCHING". Then a list of nearby courses will appear. 32 2. Select the course of your choice by pressing the Down button until it is highlighted, and then pressing the Select button located in between the Up and Down arrow buttons. 3. RFB LFWC 456 456 MANUAL HOLE ADVANCE Press Up to manually advance to the next hole, or press Down to manually advance to the previous hole. The H40 will automatically advance the hole information as you move across a course. The manual advance is useful for shotgun starts. 35 TRACK SHOT DISTANCE Use shot tracking to find the distance of your shot by measuring the distance between two points. Point A will be where youve taken your shot. Point B will be where the ball has landed. 36 1. After youve activated the GPS connection for your location, press the SAT button to set Point A. 2.
