For Windows PS/2 mouse only, do not plug or unplug the receiver cable while the computer is running. For optimal performance, place the receiver at least 25 centimeters away from other electrical devices, such as the computer, the computer monitor, or printers. STEP 3: Make sure you have installed the batteries correctly. Check and make sure the batteries you have installed not dead. Try the batteries in another device. STEP 4: The signal transmission distance will shorter if your tabletop surface is made by metal. In or-
der to reach to higher performance for the mouse, try using a traditional mouse pad and place the rece-
iver in common usage. STEP 5: You may have other system devices that conflict with the mouse and receiver. Check the ID address settings of these devices for conflicts and change the settings as required. Refer to the 2.1 for the hardware connection. STEP 6: It is strongly recommended, don t place the Receiver near the monitor, as the magnetic field produced by monitor will interfere the Receiver working and cause data reading error or missing; besides, the PC system metal housing will interfere the Rec-
eiver working also, so it is commended to place the receiver in front of the monitor in order to prevent signal disturbance from the monitor. STEP 7: Try to alternate the channel of the Receiver, keyboard and mouse in case the initial channel (set by the factory) appears to work improperly, as other electrical devices in the vicinity may cause interference.
