Tint Selector User Guide INTRODUCTION Halio Tint Selector lets users wirelessly adjust the tint levels of Halio Smart Glass. It can be easily wall-mounted or placed on a table top and can control a single window or large group of windows. Tint Selector guides the user to set one of nine tailored tint levels from clear to completely tinted. USING TINT SELECTOR Use Tint Selector to control Halio Smart Glass tinting much like you would use a simple dimmer light switch. Pressing the top or bottom keypad button adjusts the target tint level to one of 9 levels. A. Press top of the Tint Selector one or more times to reduce the tinting level and clear the glass. B. Press the bottom one or more times to increase tinting and darken the glass. One of the LEDs on the gradient scale blink three times to confirm the new tint level target. Note: Whenever you use Halio Tint Selector, you temporarily override the current pre-set program. Pre-set programming will resume with the onset of the next scheduled event. TROUBLESHOOTING If Halio Tint Selector becomes unresponsive with no LED activity, you most likely need to change the batteries much like you periodically change the batteries in a TV remote control. Change Batteries To change the batteries:
1. Slide the Tint Selector up to remove it from the back mounting plate. 2. Slide out the two CR2032 batteries from the battery clips using your fingers to slide from the top down. 3. Slide two fresh batteries into the clips pushing from the bottom up. If LEDs blink but commands appear unresponsive, it may be useful to reboot the device using the reset button. Device Reboot To reboot the Tint Selector:
1. Slide the Tint Selector up to remove it from the back mounting plate. 2. Click the Reset button using a pen or paperclip. 3. LEDs will blink as the device restarts and rejoins the wireless mesh network. HUG-TS 181010 v0.5 Regulatory Compliance FCC ID No. 2AJXY-UC100 This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
