User Manual: Bud V1.0 Model Name: 02 1. Product Introduction Bud is a dedicated hardware interface for the Blue Voice Assistant. Designed exclusively for iPhone 15 (and newer), it acts as a secure bridge that allows Blue to perform tasks on your behalf, like writing messages, checking emails, or replying to notifications, seamlessly. Key Features:

Seamless Integration: Plugs directly into your iPhones USB-C port for an instant, secure connection. Passthrough Charging: Features a USB-C input port, allowing you to charge your iPhone at speeds up to 30W while Bud is connected. App-Driven Control: No confusing lights or buttons; checking status and connection is done entirely through the Blue app. 2. Hardware Overview Bud HW Device - Version Alpha Centauri Male USB-C Connector: Connects to the iPhone. Female USB-C Port (Charging): Connect your standard iPhone charging cable here to charge through the device. Compact Housing: Sleek, low-profile design that fits flush against the phone. 3. Getting Started Step 1: Installation Insert the Bud dongle into the USB-C port on the bottom of your iPhone (iPhone 15 or newer required). Note: If you use a phone case, ensure the opening is wide enough for Bud to sit flush against the phone frame. If the connection is loose, the device may not power on. Bud plugged in to iPhone Step 2: Install the App Bud requires the Blue Voice Assistant app to function. 1. Download Blue Voice Assistant from the Apple App Store. 2. Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/blue-voice-assistant/id6751820049 Step 3: Verification (Pairing) Since Bud has no physical lights, you will verify the connection via the App. 1. Open the Blue app. 2. The app will automatically scan for devices broadcasting the name "Blue Bud"

followed by a unique ID (e.g., Blue Bud (015BB6)). 3. Look for the "Bud Connected" icon or status message at the top of the app dashboard. o Troubleshooting: If the app does not find the device, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and that Bud is fully seated in the USB-C port. Step 4: Using Blue Once connected, you can speak naturally to Blue.

"Read my last email."

"Reply to John saying I'll be there in 5 minutes."

"Check my messages." Bud translates these requests into direct actions on your phone, allowing Blue to operate with higher reliability than standard voice apps. 4. Charging Through Bud You do not need to remove Bud to charge your phone. 1. Plug your standard USB-C charging cable into the female port on the bottom of Bud. 2. Your iPhone will begin charging immediately. Specification: Bud supports USB Power Delivery (PD) up to 30W. Note: It is normal for the device to become warm during high-speed charging. 5. Safety & Troubleshooting Safety Information Heat: During 30W charging, the device enclosure may reach warm temperatures. This is within safe operating limits. Liquid: Do not expose Bud to water or liquids. If it gets wet, remove it immediately and let it dry completely before use. Force: Do not pry or bend the device while it is plugged into the phone, as this may damage your phone's USB-C port. Troubleshooting App doesn't see Bud:

o Ensure you are using an iPhone 15 or newer. o Check if your phone case is blocking the connector. Try removing the case temporarily. Phone not charging:

o Ensure your wall charger and cable are functional. o Unplug Bud from the phone, attach the power cable to Bud first, then plug the entire assembly into the phone. 6.
