You can position the text box anywhere INTRODUCTION Your vacuum probe at the end of your main lines is a high precision device, manufactured with quality components to give you the best possible tool for detecting vacuum leaks. This instrument has been inspected to the highest standards in the industry. Each function of the device has been verified by a specialised technician. It is important to familiarize yourself with the device before concluding too quickly that an installation is adequate. You can imagine the cost of a vacuum leak, however small, if it is present throughout sugaring season. You can position the text box anywhere TECHNICAL INFORMATION The Vacuum probe should preferably be installed on a tree of 4' or less in diameter. The Vacuum probe must be installed with the solar panel facing south. The Vacuum probe has three push buttons (On / Off (C), (1) = Pairing, (2) =
Refresh). The Vacuum probe has two directional antennas, a solar panel, a temperature probe, a GPS probe and a 5/16 tube insertion input. The Vacuum probe is weather resistant, but must not be submerged. The probe is designed for permanent installation or can be removed at the end of your season if desired. Pairing 2- Refresh How to operate the device :
1. Start the probe (C), the green light will flash. 2. Press and hold (1) until the lights (B) interchange from green to red. 3. Determine a new security code that may include letters or numbers and that are different from the default code 0000. 4. Pair the sensor with the gateway in the CDL software with your new security code. When the pairing is successful, the light (B) will turn green. 5. Shut the probe (C), the light will turn off. 6. Installation of the probe in the forest, probes must be at a maximum of 1000 to 1200 feet from each other for proper operation. 7. Restart the probe (C) to check the connectivity and have its GPS position in the CDL software. 8. Repeat steps 1 through 6 for each probe to be installed. CDL Maple Sugaring Equipment Inc. 6

You can position the text box anywhere SPECIFICATIONS Battery life: 3-4 months without charging and with sufficient solar charge, indefinitely or up to battery replacement. Operation temperatures: -30C to 40C MAINTENANCE Maintenance of this device is very simple. Only a change of batteries is necessary after three to five years of operation. TROUBLESHOOTING When the green light flashes, the system is operational and connected. If the light is red, the probe is incapable of connecting, you must get closer to establish a connection. For a period of 2 years from the original date of purchase, Les quipements d'rablire CDL Inc. will repair or replace parts of this product that are defective in materials or workmanship, if installed, used and maintained according to the instructions provided. If it can not be repaired, a new appliance will be returned, if it is within the two-year warranty from the date of purchase. Exclusions This warranty does not cover the following:
1. Products with the original serial numbers removed, altered or that are not easily readable. 2. Equipment that changed owners or that is outside of North America. 3. If the CDL maintenance procedure is not followed. 4. The production losses due to any problem with the probes. 5. Any revenue losses caused by a defect in the system or a device. 6. Service calls that are not related to a malfunction, a manufacturing defect or a defect in material, or for products that are not used in accordance with the instructions provided. 7. Service calls to check the installation or for instructions on using the device. 8. Service calls after 2 years. 9. Damage caused by: repairs made by unauthorized technicians; The use of parts other than the original CDL parts or the use of parts that have not been obtained through an authorized technician; Or external causes such as abuse, misuse, accidents, fires or natural disasters. 10. If the detector has been damaged by abuse, neglect, modifications made by the customer. 11. Damage caused by the use of products not intended for use in this device or by misuse of cleaning agents.
