You can charge your speaker while playing audio or using the walkie-talkie. The Bluetooth LED blinks blue quickly and your speaker enters pairing mode. 2 Make sure that your Bluetooth device is within 33 ft. (10 m) of your speaker. The Bluetooth/Charging LED blinks blue slowly while connected to the cable. 2 Use your connected device to control playback, making sure that its volume is set to at least 50%. CONNECTING YOUR SPEAKERS WITH TWS True wireless stereo (TWS lets you connect your two included speakers together to play left- and right-channel audio separately. 1 Press and hold (Bluetooth/call) on both speakers for three seconds to disconnect from other Bluetooth devices and enter pairing mode. The Bluetooth LEDs blink quickly. 2 Press (Bluetooth/call) twice on one speaker. The speaker says true wireless pairing and pairs to the other speaker. Once paired, the speakers say paired and left channel. The left-channel speakers Bluetooth LED blinks blue slowly and the right speakers Bluetooth LED is solid blue. 3 Make sure that your Bluetooth device is within 33 ft. (10 m) of your speaker. 4 On your Bluetooth device, turn on Bluetooth and select NS-SPBTWT from the list of available devices. When your Bluetooth device is paired, the left-channel speakers Bluetooth LED beeps and continues to blink blue slowly. Note: Only the left-channel speaker can be used for phone calls or AUX connections while using TWS. 5 Press (power). The speaker announces that it is either the left or right channel so you know which side to place the speaker on. Your speaker loses the Bluetooth connection if you... Turn off your speaker. Move the Bluetooth device out of range. Turn off your Bluetooth device. Turn off Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device. Connect your Bluetooth device to another Bluetooth device. To reconnect... Turn on your speaker. Your speaker searches for the last connected Bluetooth device and reconnects. Make sure that your Bluetooth device is within 33 feet (10 m) of your speaker. Turn on your Bluetooth device, then make sure that Bluetooth is on. Turn on Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device. Disconnect your Bluetooth device from the other Bluetooth device, then set your device to pairing mode. Select NS-SPBTWT on your Bluetooth device. Note: The Bluetooth range (33 ft./10 m) may be reduced if the wireless signal has to pass through walls or other obstructions. USING YOUR WALKIE-TALKIE 1 Turn the frequency knob to tune your walkie-talkie to the channel (1-8) that you want. The walkie-talkie LED lights green when you receive a signal. 2 Make sure that the person you want to talk to is on the same frequency and within 1.2 mi. (2 km) of you. 3 Press and hold the PTT (push-to-talk) button to speak, then release when you are finished. The walkie-talkie LED lights red while you transmit. Note: Speaker music will automatically pause/play when you press/release the PTT button. 4 To turn off the walkie-talkie, turn the frequency knob to P-OFF. The speaker resets. Note: Resetting may help if you have trouble pairing your speaker. TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM No power No sound or low volume Cannot establish Bluetooth connection SOLUTION Make sure that your speakers battery is charged. Make sure that your speaker is turned on. Make sure that your Bluetooth device is turned on, Bluetooth is turned on, and NS-SPBTWT is selected. Turn up the volume on your speaker and Bluetooth device. Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not muted. Make sure that your speaker is not paired to another Bluetooth device. Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not paired to another Bluetooth device. Shorten the distance between your speaker and your Bluetooth device. Make sure that your speaker is in pairing mode. Press and hold the (call) button to reenter pairing mode. Shorten the distance between your speaker and your Bluetooth device. Turn your devices off, then on. Re-pair your speaker and your Bluetooth device. Make sure that your speaker is not paired to another Bluetooth device. Make sure that your speaker and Bluetooth device are both in pairing mode. Make sure that your Bluetooth device supports Bluetooth v4.0 and below. Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not connected to any other device. Make sure that you have selected NS-SPBTWT on your Bluetooth device. Disconnect any audio cables connected to your speakers AUX jack. My Bluetooth device keeps unpairing Shorten the distance between your speaker and your Bluetooth device. If the battery on your Bluetooth device is low, recharge the battery. If the battery on your speaker is low, recharge the battery. NS-SPBTWT does not appear on my Bluetooth device Shorten the distance between your speaker and your Bluetooth device. Put your speaker into pairing mode, then refresh your list of Bluetooth devices. For more information, see the documentation that came with your Bluetooth device. Poor sound quality Cant transmit or receive Move your speaker and Bluetooth device closer together. Try a different music source. Pair your speaker to a different mobile device. Try changing the volume on your music source. Make sure that both walkie-talkies are fully charged and turned on. Make sure that you are within 1.2 mi. (2 km) of the person you want to talk to. This range may be reduced depending on the terrain or other interference in your area. Make sure that you and the person you want to talk to are on the same frequency. Note: The channel numbers may be different across different radio brands. Check the channel/frequency table to make sure that youre tuned to the same frequency. I hear interference The walkie-talkies may be too close together, try separating them farther. Make sure that both walkie-talkies are fully charged and turned on. Make sure that you are not touching the microphone or antenna. I am hearing other peoples conversations Change to a different channel/frequency that others are not using.
