WELCOME TO LIKK H2O Early Water Leak Alert and Mitigation Service. CONTENT:
1. Central Hub/Panel, this unit is the communication brain of your leak alert system, it communicates with all the water sensors and communicates with our monitoring station to alert in case of any water being detected by a sensor. It communicates via Wireless so there is NO NEED to CONNECT to the INTERNET or WIFI. 2. An A/C Connector or Plug is provided to connect the Central Hub to the electrical outlet. 3. An Active SIM Card has been provisioned inside the Central Hub, to communicate with our monitoring service. DO NOT TAKE IT OUT 4. Water Sensors. Based on the areas you selected, there will be multiple water sensors in the kit, all of them have been labeled with the area where they will be placed. The Sensors use radio signal to communicate to the Central Hub so there is NO NEED to CONNECT to the INTERNET or WIFI. INSTALLATION GUIDE Step 1: Turn on the Gateway, please plugin the gateway using the provided A/C connector. The On/Off switch is on the Bottom (grey) press for 5 sec to turn it ON. Once you turn on the equipment it will go through a connection cycle of about 30 sec to establish a wireless connection. The equipment will do an audible confirmation
"Rearmed" and turn the LED light from Red to Green. Trouble Shoot:
-If the unit does not turn On. Please make sure you have power on the electrical outlet that you plugged the Central Hub to. The Led light will turn Red as soon as it is On.
-If the light did not go to Green. Please proceed to turn it off, wait for 10 seconds and turn it on again, and wait for 45 seconds, if the light is still red, move the Central Hub closer to a window or any area that the wireless cellphone signal might be better, and repeat the Off and On process. Step 2: Turn the sensors On. On the side of the sensor there are an LED light, and a small and big button. Press the small button for 5 sec to turn On the sensor, the led will blink a green color light. No light will show once its ON. There is no need to connect or program any of the sensors, as they were already provisioned before shipping them to you. Step 3: Placing the Sensors in their respective areas. Each sensor has been labeled with the area/ location it should be placed at, this is the area that will show on your alerts when the sensor detects water. It is important that you place the sensor in the area that has been provisioned for in order to avoid any confusion. Select a place in that area were you believe will have the best chance to detect water if a leak might originate in that area. For instance, on the perimeter of the washing machine, or the water heater, under the toilet tank, under the sink, surrounding the fridge or freezer, etc. Please see the pictures bellow. Make sure that the Sensor is placed with the metal probes towards the floor. Thanks you for your collaboration, LIKK Technologies will take it from here..
