This car is designed to work with all LionChief The Polar Express sets. This includes Lionel 6-30218 The Polar Express LionChief set, 6-81101 10th Anniversary Limited Edition The Polar Express set and 6-84328 The Polar Express set with Bluetooth. For those running any Lionel conventional The Polar Express (using a transformer and not a remote control), please use 6-36875 Conductor Announcement Car. Your remote will automatically acquire the signal from the announcement coach in addition to your locomotive. The conductors lantern will flash if it has not locked into the remote. Once the signal is acquired, the lantern will be on constantly. To activate the coach announcements, press the announcement button on the remote included in your set (see illustration). Note!
You can also use the Lionel Universal Remote 6-83071 with the 6-30218 Bluetooth set. Operation will be the same as with your Bluetooth set remote. Announcement Button Figure 1. Once you have your Return Authorization (RA) number, make sure the item is packed in its original Styrofoam inner container which is placed inside the original outer display box (this will help prevent damage during shipping and handling).
