A. POWERING ON/OFF 1.Press and hold the BLUETOOTH BUTTON for 3 seconds and the INDICATOR LIGHT will flash BLUE 3 times . 2. The earphone will then enter automatic pairing and the INDICATOR LIGHT will flash RED and BLUE alternately . 3. Enter your Bluetooth settings on your device and connect earphone by choosing "Saf-T-Ear BT+". 4. Once connected, the INDICATOR LIGHT will flash BLUE slowly and your earphone will be ready to use. 5. Once you complete use of your earphones, press and hold the BLUETOOTH BUTTON for 3 seconds and the INDICATOR LIGHT will flash RED 3 times. Your earphones are now turned off. B. WHILE IN USE FOR CALLS
- Tap the BLUETOOTH BUTTON once to pick up or end calls.
- Tap the BLUETOOTH BUTTON twice to redial the last incoming or outgoing number.
- When there is another incoming call during a call, tap the BLUETOOTH BUTTON once to end the original call and receive a new call. Tap BLUETOOTH BUTTON twice to put the original call on hold and receive new call. Tap the BLUETOOTH BUTTON twice to alternate between the two calls. FOR MEDIA
- Tap the BLUETOOTH BUTTON once to play/pause music
- Tap VOLUME UP/DOWN BUTTON once to increase/
decrease media volume.
- Press and hold the VOLUME UP/DOWN BUTTON for 2 seconds to skip to the previous/next track.
- Press and hold the BLUETOOTH BUTTON to activate SIRI/BIXBY/ALEXA etc ... platforms. C. FOAM TIP FITTING PROCEDURE 1. Select the proper size ear tip to fit your ear canal. This ear tip should form a complete seal blocking out sound. This is critical to achieve the highest NRR rating and protect your hearing. 2.Compress the foam tip by rolling between your fingers, as much as possible. 3.Quickly insert compressed foam tip into the ear canal before it expands and seals the ear canal. 4. Hold in place for approximately 10 seconds to insure the ear tip expands and seals the ear canal. 5.Test this with the headphone turned off. Clap your hands and listen to the sound level. If the ear buds are the correct size and properly inserted, outside sound should be significantly muted. If not, take the foam tip out of your ear canal and repeat step 2 - 3. D. BATTERY CHARGING 1.lnsert USB charging cable to an AC charger (not included) or a computer USB port. 2.lnsert the Micro USB end into charge port. 3.The Led indicator lights up RED while the unit is being charged. Once the battery is fully charged, the light will turn BLUE . 4.Battery charging time is approximately 2 hours. E. AMBIENT CONTROL 1.For Ambient Functions, ALWAYS FIT AND SECURE EARTIPS WITH THE UNIT TURNED OFF. 2.Flip ON/OFF switch upwards to turn on ambient function. The indicator light will illuminate GREEN when ambient function is on. Flip the switch off when ambient function is not required. 3.The default sound level upon powering up the unit is set at safe sound levels and provides protection from sound above 85dB while delivering natural hearing. 4. Tap on the VOLUME UP/DOWN button to increase/decrease the volume by an increment. 4 different volume increments are provided above initial power on level to provide up to 5X sound enhancement. Please beware of sound levels when volume is increased. 5.Bluetooth and Ambient functions can be used independently or simultaneously. FCC STATEMENT 1.
