Driver Driver Signal and power wires

(see Wiring Guide section for further details) Athena Wireless Node Athena Wireless Node controls up to 5 drivers depending on supply current. IEC 62386 Part 250 requires a minimum guaranteed supply current of 50 mA with a maximum of 250 mA. Note: When using multiple drivers with self-powered DALI link, DALI+ from the drivers must be tied together and the DALI- from the drivers must be tied together. Do NOT mix + and - when using multiple drivers. 2. Install Athena Wireless Node Ensure knockout / cutout and adjacent surfaces are free from burrs, oil, chemicals, debris, etc. Insert Athena Wireless Node perpendicularly into knockout / cutout. If pre-wired, angle device into knockout to allow wires to pass through, then hook remaining length of device into knockout. Push firmly on the Athena Wireless Node around the entire perimeter until it sits flush against the intended fixture mounting surface. Do not push on the PIR lens to install the Athena Wireless Node. Apply power. Athena Wireless Node supports solid and stranded conductors of 26-18 AWG (0.2-0.75 mm2). Do not fully enclose within the metal fixture. 3. Removing Athena Wireless Node The Athena Wireless Node mounts in the fixture by way of two pairs of snaps on the device body. To remove the device, a pry tool must be used to deflect the snaps inward and allow removal of the unit. Tools required:

Begin by identifying the preferred prying areas (indicated by arrows below) on the device:

If you have access to one or both preferred prying areas:

1. Using a small flathead screwdriver or other prying tool, place the prying edge of the tool at one of the preferred pry points between the fixture surface and the lip of the device flange. 2. Keeping the edge of the pry tool under the flange lip, push directly inward toward the center of the device. 3. As you push inward, slowly pry upwards and outward with the pry tool. As the snap disengages, the edge of the unit will pop up out of the fixture hole. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 at the opposite pry point to disengage the other snaps. 5. Once all snaps have disengaged, the unit may be pulled straight out by hand. 6. Remove wires from the unit by unscrewing the screw terminals on the connector. If you do not have access to one or both preferred prying areas:

1. Using a small flathead screwdriver, place the tool edge between the fixture surface and lip of the device flange as close to one of the preferred prying areas as possible. 2. Push the prying edge of the screwdriver inward until it is under the flange lip and stopped against the body of the device. 3. Gently twist the screwdriver blade to lift the flange. The nearest snap location should pop out of the fixture hole. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 on the opposite side of the device to disengage the other snaps. 5. Once snaps have disengaged, the unit may be pulled straight out by hand. 6. Remove wires from the unit by unscrewing the screw terminals on the connector. Troubleshooting * www.lutron.com/support Symptom Solution Sensor does not respond to motion. Lights do not dim or turn ON as expected. Lights are unstable at low-end. The Raise button on the associated control does not increase the light level. End-of-Line test does not affect color temperature of fixture. Athena Wireless Node is not associated with an Athena system. Please follow programming instructions to associate device to an Athena system. Ensure that control lines are wired properly. Verify that the driver with self-powered DALI link has the supply activated OR auxiliary DC supply is in use. Contact driver manufacturer for details. Adjust low-end trim. Refer to Athena documentation on www.lutron.com. The lights cannot be raised above the Daylighting light level using a control. If it is critical to override the daylight level, disable daylighting from the Athena application. Color temperature control is not supported in 0-10 V control applications. If using DALI, confirm that driver supports color temperature control via IEC62386-209.

Le nud sans fil Athena contrle jusqu 5pilotes en fonction du courant dalimentation. La norme IEC62386, partie250, requiert un courant dalimentation minimum garanti de 50mA, avec un maximum de 250mA. Remarque: Lorsque vous utilisez plusieurs pilotes avec une liaison DALI auto-alimente, les DALI+ des pilotes doivent tre lis ensemble et les DALI- des pilotes doit tre lis ensemble. Ne combinez PAS + et - lorsque vous utilisez plusieurs pilotes. 2. Installer le nud sans fil Athena Assurez-vous que les entres perforer/dcouper et les surfaces adjacentes sont dpourvues de bavures, dhuile, de produits chimiques, de dbris, etc. Insrez le nud sans fil Athena perpendiculairement dans lentre perforer/dcouper. Sil est prcbl, inclinez lappareil dans lentre perforer pour permettre de passer les fils, puis accrochez la longueur restante de lappareil dans lentre perforer. Appuyez fermement sur le nud sans fil Athena sur tout son primtre jusqu ce quelle soit encastre dans la surface de montage du luminaire prvue. Nappuyez pas sur la lentille PIR pour installer le nud sans fil Athena. Mettez sous tension. Le nud sans fil Athena peut accueillir des conducteurs massifs et multibrins de 0,2-0,75mm2 (26-18AWG). Ne lintgrez pas compltement dans le luminaire mtallique. Si vous avez accs un ou aux deux points de levier:

1. Placez le bord dun petit tournevis plat ou dun autre levier lun des points de levier entre la surface du luminaire et la lvre de la bride de lappareil. 2. En maintenant le bord du levier sous la lvre de la bride, poussez directement vers lintrieur, en direction du centre de lappareil. 3. En poussant vers lintrieur, soulevez lentement lappareil vers le haut et vers lextrieur avec le levier. Lattache se librera et le bord de lappareil sortira du trou du luminaire. 4. Rptez les tapes1 3 au point de levier oppos pour librer les autres attaches. 5. Une fois toutes les attaches libres, lappareil peut tre retir directement la main. 6. Retirez les fils de lappareil en dvissant les bornes vis sur le connecteur. Si vous navez pas accs un ou aux deux points de levier:

1. Placez le bord dun petit tournevis plat entre la surface du luminaire et la lvre de la bride de lappareil, aussi prs que possible de lun des points de levier. 2. Poussez la pointe du tournevis vers lintrieur jusqu ce quil sinsre sous la lvre de la bride et bute contre le corps de lappareil. 3. Tournez doucement la pointe du tournevis pour soulever la bride. Lattache la plus proche devrait sortir du trou du luminaire. 4. Rptez les tapes1 3 sur le ct oppos de lappareil pour librer les autres attaches. 5. Une fois les attaches libres, lappareil peut tre retir directement la main. 6. Retirez les fils de lappareil en dvissant les bornes vis sur le connecteur. Dpannage *

Symptme Le dtecteur ne ragit pas au mouvement. Les lumires ne se tamisent ou ne sallument pas comme prvu. Les lumires sont instables leur seuil bas. Le bouton Monter sur la commande associe naugmente pas le niveau dclairage. Le test de fin de ligne naffecte pas la temprature de couleur du luminaire. www.lutron.com/support Solution Le nud sans fil Athena nest pas associ un systme Athena. Veuillez suivre les instructions de programmation pour associer lappareil un systme Athna. Vrifiez que les lignes de commande sont raccordes correctement. Vrifiez que lalimentation du pilote liaison DALI auto-alimente est active OU que lalimentation c.c. auxiliaire fonctionne. Contactez le fabricant des pilotes pour plus dinformations. Ajustez le rglage du seuil bas. Consultez la documentation de Athena sur www.lutron.com. La luminosit ne peut pas augmenter au-dessus du niveau de luminosit de la dtection de lumire du jour en utilisant la commande. Sil est crucial de droger au niveau de dtection de lumire du jour, dsactivez la dtection de lumire du jour dans lapplication Athena. Le contrle de la temprature de couleur nest pas possible dans les applications de contrle de 0-10V. Si vous utilisez DALI, confirmez que le pilote permet le contrle de la temprature de couleur via la norme CEI62386-209.

El nodo inalmbrico Athena controla hasta cinco controladores en funcin de la corriente de suministro. Instale el nodo inalmbrico Athena Asegrese de que la tapa ciega / recorte y las superficies adyacentes estn libres de rebabas, aceite, productos qumicos, residuos, etc. Inserte el nodo inalmbrico Athena perpendicularmente en la tapa ciega / recorte. Si estuviera precableado, incline el dispositivo hacia el orificio ciego para permitir que pasen los cables, y luego enganche la longitud restante del dispositivo en el orificio ciego. Presione firmemente el nodo inalmbrico Athena alrededor de todo el permetro hasta que quede a ras contra la superficie de montaje prevista para el artefacto.
