MBTBUDS WIRELESS BLUETOOTH EARBUDS User guide USER GUIDE Thank you for purchasing the Macally MBTBUDS. The MBTBUDS is a Bluetooth 4.1 wireless headset, made of the finest materials, that allows you to enjoy your favourite music and make hands-free calls at the best audio quality and the most stable wireless connection up to a distance of 30ft/10 m. This headset supports aptX audio technology for high-quality wireless audio and Cvc 6.0 noise cancelling for a crisp and clean microphone sound. The built-in 120 mAh rechargeable battery lasts up to 6 hours of music play time (varies according to audio format, volume level and other conditions), 8 hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby time. It only needs 1-2 hours of charging time. A very cool feature of this headset is that the earbuds are magnetic. It allows you to magnetically turn on/off your headset. Simply detach the earbuds to turn the headset on and attach them to turn it off to save battery life. Besides, when you magnetically attach them you can keep the headset conveniently around your neck or store it easily in a bag or pocket The headset has an extremely lightweight (approx. 21 g), behind-the-neck and in-ear design (3 sets of eardbud sizes included) for maximum comfort. Volume Up/Next Song button Volume Down/Previous Song button Press and release to decrease the volume Swapping out the ear buds and in-ear supports The MBTBUDS includes 3 different sized Ear buds and in-ear supports (S, M, L). To swap them out, simply pull off the existing set and attach a different sized one as needed. When re-attaching the in-ear support, make sure it sits up on the opposite side of the cable as shown in the images below. PAIRING THE MBTBUDS Pairing the MBTBUDS with iPhone, iPad or iPod NOTE: The MBTBUDS may not be fully charged when you get it. Please make sure you charge them If the sync LED does not flash during pairing. 1. Separate the ear buds and make sure the Bluetooth sync LED is flashing red/white. If its not, press and hold the sync button on the headset for three to four seconds until it flashes. Charging the MBTBUDS To charge your MBTBUDS simply connect the USB end of the charging cable to a USB charging adapter (adapter not incuded) and the Micro USB end into the MBTBUBS charging port. While charging, the battery status LED will stay solid red and then turn to white when fully charged. Charging LED status indicator:

Open the Bluetooth settings on your iPhone and make sure Bluetooth is set to ON. Pairing the MBTBUDS with Android smartphone or tablet NOTE: The MBTBUDS may not be fully charged when you get it. Please make sure you charge them If the sync LED does not flash during pairing. 1. Separate the ear buds and make sure the Bluetooth sync LED is flashing red/white. If its not, press and hold the sync button on the headset for three to four seconds until it flashes. 3. From the Bluetooth screen, wait for MACALLY MBTBUDS to show up then tap on MACALLY MBTBUDS and wait for the MBTBUDS to show Connected. NOTE: It may take up to a minute for the ear buds to show up on the screen. Once paired the ear buds will automatically turn off when magnetically placed together and automatically turn on and connect to your iPhone. 2. Open the Bluetooth settings on your Android and make sure Bluetooth is set to ON. Pairing the MBTBUDS with Mac NOTE: The MBTBUDS may not be fully charged when you get it. Please make sure you charge them If the sync LED does not flash during pairing. 1. Separate the ear buds and make sure the Bluetooth sync LED is flashing red/white. If its not, press and hold the sync button on the headset for three to four seconds until it flashes. 3. From the Bluetooth screen, wait for MACALLY MBTBUDS to show up then tap on MACALLY MBTBUDS and wait for the MBTBUDS to show Connected. NOTE: It may take up to a minute for the ear buds to show up on the screen. Once paired the ear buds will automatically turn off when magnetically placed together and automatically turn on and connect to your smartphone or tablet. 2. Click on the Bluetooth icon located on your Macs menu bar located in upper right corner of your screen. Make sure Bluetooth is ON then select Open Bluetooth Preferences from the drop down menu. 3. From the Bluetooth screen, wait for MACALLY MBTBUDS to show up then click on connect and wait for the MBTBUDS to show Connected. NOTE: It may take up to a minute for the ear buds to show up on the screen. Once paired the ear buds will automatically turn off when magnetically placed together and automatically turn on and connect to your Mac. 3. From the Add a device screen, wait for MACALLY MBTBUDS to show up then double click on MACALLY MBTBUDS and wait for windows to finish installing the driver. NOTE: It may take up to a minute for the ear buds to show up on the screen. Once paired the ear buds will automatically turn off when magnetically placed together and automatically turn on and connect to your Windows PC. Pairing the MBTBUDS with Windows NOTE: The MBTBUDS may not be fully charged when you get it. Please make sure you charge them If the sync LED does not flash during pairing. 1. Separate the ear buds and make sure the Bluetooth sync LED is flashing red/white. If its not, press and hold the sync button on the headset for three to four seconds until it flashes. 2. Open your windows Bluetooth settings and click on Add a device. Warning 1. Listening at high volume levels can lead to hearing problems. 2. For trac safety, do not use earphones while driving a motor vehicle or bicycle. 3. Keep out of reach of children as the parts included with this product can be a choking hazard.
