When the device is powered-on or reset the LCD full display will appear for 3 seconds. 2. The display will then enter the main screen after a Beep. 3. Long Press TIME to enter into the time setting mode ii. Short Press ALM to switch between AL1AL2Main Screen iii. Long Press ALM for 2 seconds to enter into Alarm setting mode iv. Short Press UP to turn on/off the ALARM function, the sequence is AL1 ONAL2 ONAL1&AL2 ON AL1&AL2 OFF. v. Short Press DOWN to switch between C/F vi. Short Press LIGHT/SNOOZE to turn on the backlight for 5 seconds vii. Short Press CH to switch RF channels, CH1 CH2CH3CH1 viii. Long Press CH for 2 seconds to clear all data out of the current Channel ix. When the alarm rings, short press LIGHT/SNOOZE to enter into the snooze mode for 5 minutes 2. Time Set i. Hold the TIME key for 2 seconds to enter into the time setting mode ii. There will be 1 Hz flashing during setting iii. The sequence of time setting: Year (2000-2050) Month Date Language 12/24H Hour Minute Zone (-12~+12) Exit iv. Press TIME to confirm the setting. v. Press UP one time and the setting will go ahead by one step; Press UP for 2 seconds and it will go forward by 8 steps/seconds. vi. Press DOWN one time and the setting will go backward by one step; Press DOWN for 2 seconds and the setting will go backward by 8 steps/seconds. vii. When the settings change, the moon phase will change according to the day, month, and year selected. viii. The device will exit the time setting automatically if no key is pressed for 8 seconds. When this happens the device will revert to the previous settings. i. Short Press ALM to check alarm times: AL1AL2Main Screen. ii. Hold ALM for 2 seconds to enter into the alarm setting mdoe iii. There will be 1 Hz flashing during setting iv. The sequence for setting the alarm: Hour Minute Exit v. Press UP one time and the setting will go ahead by one step; Press UP for 2 seconds and it will go forward by 8 steps/seconds. vi. Press DOWN one time and the setting will go backward by one step; Press DOWN for 2 seconds and the setting will go backward by 8 steps/seconds. vii. Press ALM to confirm the setting, and enter the next setting state viii. When the set alarm time is reached, the alarm will sound as follows:
3. Alarm Set a. 1 ~ 10 seconds: 1 beep per second b. 11 ~ 20 seconds: 2 beeps per second c. 21 ~ 30 seconds: 3 beeps per second d. 30~120 seconds: continuous beeps. ix. The device will exit the alarm settings automatically if no key is pressed for 8 seconds. x. When the alarm is ringing, press the LIGHT/SNOOZE key to enter into snooze mode. The alarm will ring again 5 minutes later; press any other key to exit. xi. Snooze settings: 5-30minutes. Default: 5 minutes. xii. Hold LIGHT/SNOOZE for 2 seconds to enter into snooze settings xiii. Adjust the snooze settings by pressing UP or DOWN. Press LIGHT/SNOOZE to confirm the setting and exit. i. After the battery is installed and the unit checks the temperature/humidity, it will automatically begin the RF receiving mode for three minute ii. When the unit is on the main display screen, hold the CH key for 3 seconds to clear out the channel information iii. If no effective signal with the same ID code for the current channel, is received within one hour, the temperature of the CH will show ---. The temperature display will resume when the correct signal is received again. 2. Temperature and Humidity VI. Function 1. RF Receiving Mode i. The indoor temperature display range: 32F -- +122F ii. The outdoor temperature display range: -4F 140F iii. The indoor and outdoor humidity range: 20% --- 99%
3. Comfort Index and Temperature Trend i. When the difference between the current temperature and the recorded temperature is more than +33.8F, the trend shows a rise. ii. When the difference between the current temperature and the recorded temperature is less than -33.8F, the trend shows a drop. iii. Indication of comfort index:
a. Dry: When temperature is at any value and the humidity is under 40%
b. Comfort: When temperature is between 68F-78.6F and the humidity is at 40-70%
c. Wet: When temperature is at any value and the humidity is over 70%
d. No indication: When temperature is out of the range of 68F-78.6F and the humidity is at 40-70%
